Oof, right in the relatability! In my observations, average people prefer using she or he if any is specified. Gives me the impression people avoid neutral if known alternatives exist. I default to they for literally everyone regardless of preference because is easy and possibly lazy.

Having grown up with a Wii and Mario Galaxy, I totally agree! She's my favourite Mario character for that exact reason plus her design and depth! She inspires badassery, and not even Bowser can truly reach that level!

I am heavily biased because my favourite color is orange so Conehead and goldfish! Love the alien as well! As to do without, I never was into the emoji craze a few years back, and disliked the poop themed slime toys and whatnot, so there's that! Hope this helps!
