Another particularly large volley from federal agents against pro immigration protesters here in Paramount, CA.. I’ve seen a few people living in nearby homes run out the door choking. Some neighbors using their hose to assist those struggling with the thefts of chemical munitions.

One man holding up a sign with scorch marks, says his sign was hit by munitions from federal agents here in Paramount. Getting eyes flushed out with milk. (I do not recommend flushing your eyes out with milk)

We’ll see what happens. The cost of those systems may cause some committee members to vote against my proposals, but should be enough to get approved.

5. Requirement of an exterior strobe, beacon, horn/strobe, or speaker/strobe with a red strobe output color in a contiguous area for any occupancy that contains a fire alarm system. This would help speed up response times from firefighters that have trouble finding a burning building.

3. Requirement of an MNS risk analysis for hotels that contain a place of assembly with an occupant load of 500 or more. 4. Requiring an MNS risk analysis for business occupancies that exceed 45,000 sq ft. This could include business complexes, campuses, technology centers, etc.

If NFPA decides to adopt the proposals, you will see the following: 1. Requiring EVAC for new Group M occupancies. Currently only applies to existing mercantile and shopping malls. 2. Requiring EVAC for Group I4 (e.g., daycares) with a load of 50 or more. Washington already has this requirement.

Speaking of NFPA 101, you’re going to see some massive changes for the 2024 version this month.

The proper term is an 'emergency voice/alarm communication system'. Any structure above 420 ft of the lowest level of FD vehicle access requires a multi-channel system. Indiana doesn't allow adopting code ordinances anymore, and it's a good thing because it prevents unnecessary deregulating.

Yes, per IFC. My state uses an amended version of the International Fire Code called the Indiana Fire Code. The current revision is from 2014. Indiana is finally adopting NFPA 101 next year since they have a law that allows adopting both IFC and NFPA 101.
