I have amazing friends. I had hip replacement surgery on Monday the 6th., but last Sunday my sister, who was planning to fly up from California, called to tell me she hadn’t shaken the terrible cold and cough she needed to get rid of before she came so as not to bring risk of infection. 1/?

I begin this year with great trepidation. In August 2024 I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hip; my replacement surgery is this Monday, the 6th. One day before that August diagnosis, I had been diagnosed with cognitive decline. 1/2
