Butterbean is my senior rescue Chihuahua. We live in the historic district of beautiful Savannah. I'm a progressive Democrat. Car-free, I get around by bicycle and walking, often with Butterbean in a backpack.

It was in a Musk tweet. Not sure how binding that is if it wasn't in the official communication of the email.

She's a *senior* miss, #actually, and I hate to say, she's on a yucky "low-protein" diet for her kidneys.

All of them! But this is probably my favorite of Butterbean, because she looks like such a little baby/teddy-bear on her blankey.

How much longer can he go on like that?

Thanks for posting this, but what specifically are they angry about? What is he supposed to stand up against? If it's DOGE, that's one thing; if it's trans people, that's another.

Wow, I can't say no to that! What measurements do you need? Thank you for the generous offer!

Trump swing voters now are like, "What do you mean I pushed the self-destruct button? Why is there a self-destruct button?"

WOW, thanks!!! Every once in a while I do that by accident, but have never explored it and had no idea that option was down there. Just tried it out and it worked! Thank you!

I think it depends on what is defined as your "home network"? I (inadvertently) established mine as my TV and desktop PC which are connected by ethernet, but then it wouldn't let me watch on my kindle fire which is on my wifi because that wasn't part of my "home network."

I don't even have empathy for my own Trump-voting parents! They're dead to me! I'm sure not going to be more understanding for random MAGAts I don't even care about in the first place!

Every white gun nut has a vigilante fantasy where they "have to" shoot a Black person "in self-defense" (or maybe "in defense" of a white woman).

The key has to be creating and sustaining a broadly informed and responsible electorate. The institutions which make that possible will have to take a very proactive and aggressive "cybersecurity"-esque posture against hacks and cheats like Fox News that would undermine it.

@eschatonblog.com has been observing for a while that every time job creation actually happens, the Fed steps right in to nip it in the bud, lest wages go up

Exactly! There's a lot of talk like these people need forgiveness, empathy, permission, a welcome ceremony, or whatever to vote Dem next time if they feel fucked over enough by Republicans. They don't! They can just do it!

Does it make it better or worse that I'm still convinced there was lots of bigotry mixed in with all the stupidity? Like, I really believe Trump got a lot of marginalized groups thinking about even more marginalized groups they despise, to the point that they lost sight of their own marginalization.

The good news is, if they feel that screwed over by Trump, they don't need my "empathy," permission, welcome ceremony, or anything else to vote against him or whoever next time. But honestly, I hope they all die from the consequences of their votes. They fucking deserve it.

And all I have to say to that is, motherfuckers, I cut my own parents out of my life over their Trump votes. I'm damn sure not going to "empathize" more with randos I don't even know who voted either ignorantly, foolishly, maliciously, or some combination thereof.

It's like if, after he mispronounced Yosemite as, "Yo, semite," he declared that the official pronunciation, and started barring reporters who wouldn't pronounce it like that.
