That is a really inflammatory and “professionist ” request. Along the same lines as “what happens to me if a black doctor makes a mistake on my watch?” I’m ashamed that the BMJ is so elitist that they think this is an appropriate question to ask

The majority of people die in hospital, despite many saying they would prefer not to die there.
Death is not discussed as often as it should be. People need end of life care wishes recorded.
Training in end of life care for ALL healthcare staff is needed.
