Yes, Walmart will fine. I am talking about MAGA complaining about prices while the sametime praised the virtue of the free market and limited government interference.
comment in response to post
Why should Walmart eat the tariffs? They are there to make the maximum profits. The same people who agruing let the market decide and keep government out, suddenly wants to limit profits of a private company.

I love it when free market conservatives suddenly become liberal socialist. 😂

That is why I don't watch the news.

To be precise, they are wondering why white people are not having more children. They don't give a Sh*t about about anybody else.

You mean that is not MAGA policy?

they should respond to Elon personal e-mail. Let's see how fast Elon reads 3 million e-mails. 😁

Let Europe call Trump's bluff.

Yet an unelected billionaire running the government is ok.

Technically, the states do have armies. They are called the national guard.

Remote control?

Who said anything about expanding government? The government can be restructured to serve the needs of the people more efficiently. The point I am trying to make is that the government and experts have their place. Doing away with it will create more problems than it solves. Are you Australian?
comment in response to post
If community leaders are absent or harmful, it is exactly why we have the government in the first place to address the issue. Just because the government is inefficient doesn't mean we should do away with it.
comment in response to post
What happens if family members or reputable community leaders are nonexistent or can't or won't help? What happens if they cause the child abuse in the first place or encourage it? Government Authorities had failures, but they had a lot more success. You just don't hear about them.

Who would step in if the parents don't?

we decide the balance. Like I said, freedom has limits. You don't have the freedom put other lives endanger.

What is best for one kid does mean it is best for other kids or society. What happens if the kid likes to bully other kids? and Parent doesn't want to punish him because it wouldn't be best for the kid.
comment in response to post
Is not a slippy slope it's about balance. Balance between personal freedom and public safety.
comment in response to post
We the people did through the government based on science. Each parent doesn't know what is best for the child. Otherwise, we won't have a thing called child abuse.
comment in response to post
There must be a balance between individuals and society. Too much individual choices will have the strong oppressing the weak or chaos. Of course, too much society power also cause oppression.

Not at the expense of health of others. If someone is a carrier of a deathly disease, they are not allowed to spread it to others.

If we annex Mexico, do we b need to build the wall?

But we don't trust people with alcohol, at least not completely. We only trust them to a certain point. If the government and/or society is providing healthcare via Medicare, Medicaid, or emergency room treatment, then they get to decide what is good for the public health.
comment in response to post
We don't trust people with alcohol. We have regulations and laws for it. Your rights of swinging your ends before my nose to paraphrase Oliver Wendell Homes. It is also why some states restrict abortions.
comment in response to post
People do deserve a choice, but not if it kills someone. You can poison yourself with alcohol but you can't drive drunk.
comment in response to post
So, what facts do you have that vaccines don't work?

Many people are skeptical that the earth is round also.

Considering how diss the educational system that scenario is not going to happen. Besides, Rittenhouse is studying to be a nurse. Just one step above from the bottom is in medical industry.

Did the government tell you to rid of your guns? or that the government shouldn't have guns?
comment in response to post
Government as institution is neither good or evil. It is a tool like everything else.
comment in response to post
Yes, so you going to trust congress now?
comment in response to post
What does Hunter Biden has to do with anything. At best he is guilty of a minor gun charge which he will have gotten probation. Remember Covid-19 happened on Trump watch. Which he kept saying that Covid-19 was a Democratic hoax.

Nothing on NIH funding.

That is the opinion of the Republicans majority of the house community on intelligence. It's hardly a nonpasian source. The actual report doesn't say that.
comment in response to post
Then tell me where in the report that says they have intelligence that the virus has escaped from the lab?
comment in response to post
Where in the report they say the virus escaped from the lab? and the US is somehow involved?
comment in response to post
I did, have you?
comment in response to post
All the intelligence says that China initially cover up the break out. The report sponsored by the Republicans majority in the house suggested a lab leak. Hardly an admission.
comment in response to post
Who admitted it? All the intelligence I seen said we have no evidence of one.
comment in response to post
Lab leak theory along with NIH funded gain in function is a conspiracy theory with no basis in fact.
