The IRS launched its own tax filing program that allowed taxpayers to file taxes for free. Tax prep companies like Intuit lobbied for years to stop the IRS from doing this.  Intuit donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration. Now Trump is gutting the program. Hello?

Let’s be clear. When the President defies the Supreme Court, it is the role of Congress to remove him from office. Full stop.

I put a hold on Ed Martin’s nomination. He’s denied elections. Fired quality public servants. Attempted to chill free speech. Turns out he’s also carrying water for the Kremlin. So wholly unfit to be a U.S. Attorney.

See how this works?

Boom

Jeff Bezos has enough money to send Katy Perry and Gayle King on a joyride to space for 11 minutes. He can afford to pay his fair share in taxes.

The IRS Free File pilot program helped 140K taxpayers save $5.6M in tax filing costs in 2024. The program was supposed to be expanded, but now Trump is looking to gut it. This is a huge handout to the tax prep industry that has lobbied for years to prevent free tax filing.

Do you see the issue?

When he says “home-growns”, he’s talking about US citizens. He wants Bukeke to build more torture prisons in El Salvador for Americans. Not me saying it, Trump saying it. bsky.app/profile/atru...

Trump is talking about shuttering publications and networks he disagrees with. He's talking about deporting and imprisoning Americans who dissent. This is unprecedented and undemocratic. Wake up America.

Trump is defying a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling against him. The Constitutional Crisis is no longer some abstract idea, it's right here staring us in the face.

What do these corporations have in common? Netflix Ford Tesla T-Mobile Duke Energy DISH Network Metlife Dominion Energy United States Steel In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes. This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

This tracks.

Yeah so don't go on a cruise ever again if you were thinking about it.

The President’s unprecedented Executive Order yesterday targeting Messrs. Chris Krebs and Miles Taylor for nothing but the exercise of their First Amendment rights is the President’s most constitutionally corrupt Executive Order to date.

We found the government “waste, fraud, and abuse”.

The four house democrats who voted for the SAVE Act: Jared Golden (Maine), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Wash.), Henry Cuellar (Texas) and Ed Case (Hawaii). I wonder if Glusenkamp Perez knows this bill would probably strip her right to vote since “Glusenkamp” isn’t on her birth certificate.

The House passed legislation to prohibit federal district judges from issuing nationwide injunctions, marking a significant step in an escalating Republican campaign targeting judges who have blocked some of Trump’s executive orders.

For 75 years, every time any U.S. state has requested epidemiologic assistance (an “Epi-Aid”), CDC sent disease detectives. Now, Wisconsin has asked for help to address newly discovered lead poisoning in Milwaukee. But all CDC experts in lead poisoning were just fired.

NEW: The House has passed the SAVE Act that would prevent millions of Americans from voting. Senate Dems say they will block it.

Trump is trying to deregulate crypto as his personal businesses get more involved in the industry. He also just gutted the DOJ team that investigates crypto fraud. This may be one of most overt conflicts of interest in presidential history and it's hardly a blip on the news.

This is the budget resolution that Republicans have voted for. Another reminder that we have socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for the rest.

The 500 richest people in the world added $304B to their combined net worth yesterday after Trump's tariff pause. Meanwhile, retirees, small businesses, and workers are still reeling from the mess. Trump's actions feel chaotic until you see who really comes out on top.

BREAKING: Trump has paused tariffs for 90 days. Who could have seen this coming two days ago on Bluesky?

It's beyond bizarre that trump signs EOs directing DOJ investigations. Remember how nervous Bill Barr got when then-Senator Harris asked him if Trump even *suggested* he open an investigation? Now they're just televised executive orders. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktdi...

Despite countless examples of Trump doing things like this, Democrats seem addicted to putting themselves in the position of getting used and abused by him.

The top five egg producers own roughly half of all U.S. laying hens. The biggest of those corporations is Cal-Maine, which just announced quarterly profits of $509 million — more than 3x what it made a year ago. Corporate concentration + bird flu = a price-hiking free for all.

Are you a woman who changed your name when you got married? Congress is considering a bill that could make it much harder for you to vote. Call your rep—this is not a drill. indivisible.org/resource/cal...

The Trump economic mindset.

Classic MAGA lie.
