Religion doesn’t spread hate, people do. And if you use your religion to abuse people, then that’s one of the least Christian things you can do. 🙏🏳️‍🌈

My rock and roll lifestyle when working away. Card games are cool! Yes?

🌈 Incredible day at Cromwell Community College! Spoke with pupils & teachers for an Inclusion Health Check—celebrating wins & building an action plan to make their amazing school even more inclusive. Huge thanks to everyone involved—change happens together!

Hello Ipswich 👋

Hotel dinner of kings

So, an Australian study finds that homophobes and racists have lower IQs than the rest of the population. Shocked I am, SHOCKED! www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

Spent the afternoon with Cardiff Uni students, filming a documentary about my school experiences past and present. Nothing like revisiting childhood bullying to brighten up a Wednesday! 👇 1/4

I'm so excited to host a free webinar for teachers next week with Jill Nalder—a fierce HIV activist & inspiration behind It's a Sin's Jill! With HIV stigma still rampant, learn how schools can spark change. Sign up for free here: morethanflagsandrainbowsacademy.learnworlds.com/free-webinars

Had a brilliant day with Coleg Gwent’s LGBTQ+ network, tackling allyship, identity, and the stigma that still surrounds HIV. Too many people still believe outdated myths—but the reality is clear: Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U). If someone’s viral load is undetectable, they can’t pass on HIV.

Have to say, whilst presenting a workshop in Coleg Gwent on tackling stigma around HIV, I didn’t expect to get a selfie with a fundraising dinosaur.

You know how you go through life thinking that a disability or chronic condition will never happen to you? Turns out my body has been hoarding iron like a dragon & I’ve been diagnosed with haemochromatosis, leaving me with extreme fatigue & pain; hence being quiet on here. 1/6

Who wants to bet that the NIMBYs that don’t want to see the electrified railway lines also complain about how bad the trains currently are? www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-n...

A wonderful end to the week delivering LGBTQ+ inclusion training to a primary school in Cardiff. Really challenging questions from the staff, but so thrilled that they felt confident enough to ask. Every pupil, parent and member of staff deserves to be safe, seen & supported.

Main reason for inviting me back to your school for follow up training: I will definitely (maybe, possibly) remember to bring back the lanyard that I accidentally stole the first time I visited. I do love the collection of lanyards in my home office though 😂

DEI in schools isn’t: ❌ Having favourites ❌ Anti white or anti straight ❌ Blaming people DEI is: ✅ Recognising the actual world we live in ✅ Making sure no one’s left behind ✅ Helping everyone feel safe, seen & supported If that’s a problem for you, maybe ask why.

Didn’t let a car crashing into us stop us from attending the launch of the LGBT+ History Month in Wales with @PrideCymru yesterday. A (mostly) great day and an exciting month ahead.

So apparently, I now go out shopping in my dirty Crocs and don't even notice for at least half an hour. That's just how classy I am

Free speech advocates often claim all voices should be heard but in actuality, they are supporting the spread of misinformation. By treating misinformation as legitimate discourse, they protect criminals, promote conspiracy theorists & enable anarchists. The very people they claim to abhor.

Beautiful people, beautiful minds, beautiful purpose. It was amazing to have some of the #DiverseEd crew together for the 7th birthday of Diverse Educators. @hannahwilson.bsky.social @msybibi.bsky.social @itimbrell.bsky.social @dradambrett.bsky.social + Jo, Sarah, Zahara

Decided to skip flowers at the wedding. Does that make me a bad gay?

It might be Sunday, but I’m busy recording content for our upcoming DEIB training platform for schools. But sorry in advance, the puppy won’t feature, she’s just the mascot for the recording studio!

We tested the seating plan. Turns out, grouping by shared interests leads to arguments over Star Trek rankings. Bold of us to think this wouldn’t happen. But Voyager is clearly the best and I won't hear otherwise

If you want to know how classy I am, I’m spending Saturday morning watching Superstore and eating cold Chinese… …and I couldn’t be happier

Are we all ready? So who’s it going to be? My money’s on Francesca, but maybe she isn’t competitive enough. Could Charlotte bluff her way through?

Homophobia isn’t always shouting slurs. Sometimes it’s pretending we don’t exist in history books or refusing to update policies. Erasure is its own violence. Don't sit back. Represent our world in the way it actually is, not a straight, sterilised version.

Stunning tacos for lunch today 🤤 But can you tell from the pictures what ruined my lunch?

My anxiety always goes through the roof when people reveal whether they’re a faithful or traitor, even though we know who they are 🤣

Otto dropped his toy in my lap and we had a staring contest... until I threw it (for the 20th time). I think we both know who’s in charge around here.

An inspiring session today with Mastering Diversity on privilege, raising others in the workplace, and breaking out of echo chambers to drive ambition in Wales. Huge thanks to Bernie for her brilliant delivery. Learning and reflecting every day is the way forward!

Anti-LGBTQ+ bigots always shout ‘protecting children’ as the excuse, as if no people working in education understand safeguarding. Know what really protects kids? Teaching them acceptance and helping them understand that the world is a diverse place.

10 minutes in and Smoggie Queens has me. Cancel the plans, this might be the best sitcom since someone thought “what if the vicar was funny?”!

Lovely to see this in a school I visited in Surrey. Us Welsh get everywhere. And let’s celebrate it!

4 months away from Pride month. Take a look at companies who slap a rainbow on their logos & call it allyship. Visibility without support isn’t solidarity—it’s exploitation. If you're not supporting LGBTQ+ people all year round, you’re not an ally

AI, please create an image of a failed Prime Minister who wants a second chance so badly she’s wearing a MAGA hat, hoping Trump will teach her how to make a comeback from chaos.

Thrilled that Gladiators is back tonight.
