I think it was just a case of bad timing, fueled by a mix of Mortal Mania and Nintendo vs. Sega energy that was big in '93. I never owned a Sega Genesis as a kid so MK on the SNES and GB (π€’) was all I had to play at home.

Like many NES era kids, my first RPG was Dragon Warrior (courtesy of Nintendo Power), but the game that got me hooked was Final Fantasy III on the SNES. It also holds the honor of being the first video game to make me tear upβ¦ that ending hits me in the feels every time! π₯Ή

I don't think Piranha Plant was an assist trophy in SSBU. I don't see it listed on the official page: www.smashbros.com/en_US/item/a...

I have the 1991 Calendar and LOVE the crazy designs and aesthetics. They were all over the place and amazing at the same time!

I would much rather have a remake in the visual style of a modern Dragon Quest game, which really lets Toriyama's character designs shine, rather than just HD-2D. If ever there was a classic/2D Square game to give a big budget remake to, Chrono Trigger is most deserving!

I passed on games like Psychonauts and Beyond Good & Evil (as well as Resident Evil 4 and Viewtiful Joe) because they had, in my opinion, superior versions on competing consoles (Xbox and/or Gamecube) so I associate them more with those platforms

I'm assuming these are the games and collectibles that you wanted to keep after selling off the rest of your collection. Do you find that having a more curated selection has made collecting easier and given greater value to the games you collect and enjoy?
