I would only add that the entire campaign that fired them up was rooted in xenophobia and the person who they’re cheering for is a foreign national who overstayed his visa.

Yeah, I’m no fan of any of these clowns, but the smoking gun everyone is seeing to me looks like his thumb refracted through the clear liquid in the glass. There are an overwhelming number of things this administration is doing wrong and illegally. Focusing on this is a wrongheaded distraction.

I think some articles should be free for everyone to read in order to maintain our democracy. About 15 years ago I remember worrying about our future because I noticed that trash reporting was subsidized by trash people—and so much good reporting needed to be behind a paywall to be sustainable.
