This is cool! Can you also do how these teams’ cap situations evolve for next season? I imagine many teams will look different once pending extensions kick in

Yeah, it’s why the second half of season 2 felt so rushed - they were trying to shoehorn a ton of story into a few episodes. Still amazing, just wish we got to see the original vision

I think certain artists dodged the filter. I’ve seen multiple people (myself included) with the Wiggles in our Wrapped

Yup 🤦🏻♂️

Their filtering isn’t perfect: the Wiggles is listed as my number 2 artist for 2024 with their Row Row Row Your Boat coming in as my top song of the year 🤦🏻♂️

But thankfully Robin Williams did come back for the third one!

Iago redemption arc is definitely a good one, but the discount bin genie is… not great

No one will convince me that King of Thieves isn’t a banger (and I will not be rewatching it 20 years later to test this stance)

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain

I don’t see how you can get rid of it as long as teams are allowed to foul indiscriminately when down in the last few minutes - why should the losing team be able to force the winning team to trade 2s for 3s so that they can catch up?

It’s honestly selfish of Garland to play against all these tall dudes - think of about the damage his face keeps doing to their elbows
comment in response to

Is it too much to ask for national media to write detailed analysis about my team that only I get to read (thus avoiding jinxes)??
comment in response to

Following Garland’s putrid performance against Boston after you jinxed him with your thoughtful and well-written profile, I’ve changed my mind and now want all national media to go back to ignoring us!

Given how weak the East has started (outside Cleveland and Boston), when do you think is actual panic time if they haven’t started to string wins together? Game 20? 30?

Yeah, this is fire

That’s ok - you don’t really need wings when playing against Boston! Oh wait…

Yeah agree that adding that category would be better. While I personally have ER above CP2077, that’s very much a style choice, and I LOVED phantom liberty. It would have also been fun to see Citadel, Reaper of Souls, Blood & Wine (among others) recognized.
Just not Horse Armor!!

Hahaha, thank you! I was questioning my sanity after being accused of misinformation for replying to exactly what someone wrote. I really need to stop replying and let it go.
Ironically, I love the dragon age games and Trespasser is one of my favorites. Oh well

Oh - are you saying that Shadow isn’t really being nominated, the nomination is really for Shadow + Base Game, and thus is double dipping? That’s an interesting argument! Shadow is long enough to be a standalone game, but there’s probably a lot of truth there

Then why mention Trespasser?

Probably too little, too late. Search is being drowned by SEO-optimized LLM crap (and ads… so many ads)

I don’t disagree with any of the above (Rodgers has been hot garbage), but I do think Douglas’ track record would have looked a better if more of his picks had worked out (especially Zach Wilson and Mekhi)

“Are the Cavaliers for real? Yes.”
Love the blunt answer to that now tiresome question! Hoping Cavs continue proving it tonight

Hell no - since you brought it up, I was excited to debate Trespasser vs the 2015-slate and Shadow vs the 2024-slate, and instead I got this frustrating back and forth.
Debating Shadow’s nom on historical consistency is more interesting to me than just saying “this is intrinsically stupid”

“Unless they retroactively give Trespasser a GOTY on top of the Inquisition GOTY, they can f*ck off with their illogical categorizations” - if the example you used doesn’t mean anything, why even say it? Why not just say “these categorizations are illogical” (which they are)?

You’re right - me responding to the exact words you say is misinformation. How unreasonable of me.

You: “Here’s my point and here’s an example proving it”
Me: “I disagree that your example proves your point”
You: “You’re missing my point!!”
This is a fun conversation.

With such an awesome game, a little frustrated by the rest disparity with this game: 1 vs 3 nights is a material difference (I’m also trying to reverse-jinx the Cavs)
comment in response to

I got your point, I’m just disagreeing with the example you used. I’m saying that Trespasser as a standalone experience is not GotY worthy (it’s less than 10 hours of gameplay) in a more competitive 2015. In a weaker 2024 for gaming, Shadow (40+ hours) is a much more defensible nomination

DA:I Trespasser**
comment in response to
post
Hahaha, definitely the weakest of the games nominated that year, but I was more talking to the broader quality of 2015. As much as I loved it, I don’t think anyone could reasonably argue that DA:I was objectively better than Witcher, Bloodborn, or Mario
comment in response to
post
Trespasser was great, but it definitely was not better than Witcher 3, Bloodborne, Super Mario or even Fallout 4. 2015 was just a stacked year in gaming
