pharmaoffer.com/blog/hydroch... I was just wondering why so many drug chemicals end with "HCl", and I finally got around to reading about it. I found this nice article explaining it. Bonus: it's the same distinction between crack ("cocaine") vs. cocaine ("cocaine HCl").

Honestly not sure on my take - Trump didn't invent Project 2025 (fact), but the people who did had designed it around him.. why? He's dumb enough to do it? and to be the scapegoat? To survive being the scapegoat? R voters inexplicably trust him while R wonks always come off (rightly) as inhuman?

Random tech: I've had some positive experience with powershell, but it's absolutely no good as a basis for doing what a `find [ ... ] -print0 | xargs -0 [ ... ]` pattern can do. Even in Git for Windows bash, these will iterate over weird long filenames correctly where no '-literalpath' can save psh.

iso 8601 is slightly misrepresented in some of the news about Elon, with this 1875 epoch thing coming into play? That's unusual. 2025-02-14 is an iso8601 formatted date and it's exactly what it looks like. Elon is probably just lying, or looking at payments to some may/December widow, etc

KOSA was cowritten by a Democrat (Blumenthal, CT) and a Republican (Blackburn, TN). The Republican explicitly said that they expect KOSA to be used to target queer people. Don't Say Gay, except applied to the entire internet, and enforced by the most conservative AG who is elected in any US state.
