New MacBook Pro arriving Monday, it'll be my first with an Apple chip. Currently running a 2020 model, so I'm actually mostly looking forward to getting an SD card slot and HDMI port back! And a slightly larger screen.

Built a dynamic menu for my #saas website. A few lines of jQuery (yes, some of us still use it 🤓) move elements from the top level into the 'More' dropdown, complete with any children, as the browser size decreases. If the browser size increases these items are returned to their original location.

Becoming my own customer and building a #saas tool over the past few months has made me a better designer and developer. I can't recommend the process enough - whatever stage you're at in your career. Get on and build something, using tools which are familiar, but stretch yourself to do better.

🎤 New toys, ready for recording some video next week. Seem simple to setup with my Fujifilm, hopefully they'll do the job. I also like the fact I can use them with my Mac, so screen cast videos should sound the same as to camera shots. #rode #video #audio #microphone

Fixed, I think. Combination of issues in the ICS feed: UID -> watch out for caching RRULE -> keep it simple and watch the timestamp (should end in Z) DTSTART & DTEND -> include timezone and drop the Z DTSTAMP -> set it to 'now' for safety Helpful tools here icalendar.org
