Football fans are too emotional to acknowledge this. We were extremely unlucky to have lost as many as we had. It’s a results business. Win you’re brilliant, lose you’re rubbish. No inbetween

Are the club targeting a left back or is this just not even being considered?

Half the people on the roads in Ireland either driving miles under the speed limit or are driving way over it. The 2 sides of Christmas. Leads to a lot of horns beeping 😂

Definitely won’t throw fuel onto the fire. Just know he’ll say something tone deaf that’ll go down like a lead balloon

Mustard footballer. Plays like he’s 26 and a seasoned pro

I don’t disagree one bit. If it gets bad enough he’ll spend his way out because he’ll have no choice. He’s done a good job at making sure our floor is still quite a high level, I’ll give him that much. It’s the way he treats us fans I have the biggest issue with

Ye I get you, think most of the fanbase are in the same boat as you where they’re just fatigued and don’t have it in them to push for change. Think we’d have to be awful for a significant period for everyone to get behind it

Balloons I think are the most effective tool that’s feasible atm. Wouldn’t get 4k never mind 40k outside the stadium. Sends a clear message and is fairly easy to actually do

I want change but I don’t disagree. Unless 1000s commit to a protest it’s pointless

So nearly a day to remember. Ultimately I just want to forget it but probably won’t ever be able to

Tonight has been embarrassing. So many walking around. First time I’ve seen a lack of effort under Ange

We’re in big big trouble. Some of the players out there haven’t looked like they’re playing for him at all. Others look like they can’t do what he wants them to

Same vibe tbh

Lot of fans I know in real life not Twitter think he’s a shite manager. I don’t agree with them but they base it on the likes of the Palace and Ipswich games
comment in response to

There’s plenty of people claiming Ange is out of his depth. I don’t agree but it’s definitely a narrative that gets discussed
comment in response to

He was completely correct in what he said but you’re right, it was self serving. It’s a shame things didn’t work with him and I don’t hate him because he had serious personal issues which hurt his tenure badly
comment in response to
post
I think a lot of our fans are unwilling to make a stand against him in any significant way. Most just want to go to the pub and game and go home

I really hope you’re right but I’m not overly optimistic. Ultimately we need to look across at how our neighbours backed their manager through the tough times

The threat alone could be enough. Think if Stellini and Nuno stayed there would’ve been. I don’t want them to sack him but ultimately fan power is very real in these scenarios
comment in response to
post
Fan power is extremely powerful especially at this club. Nuno and Stellini’s sackings were seemingly both massively influenced by fan unrest. If they think there will be significant numbers of empty seats every weekend they won’t hesitate to pull the trigger

Absolutely true but whether or not Lange and Levy will have the minerals to see this through is the bigger question. Think they need to just drown out all external noise and just stick with him

You too Rick, keep them coming 💪

Thinking Ange might surprise us with Madders and Deki. We looked toothless on Sunday so can see him changing up to that

Think there’s just so much people are annoyed by within the club that this is just going to keep happening. Remember a few incidents at the end of Conte’s reign

Came on here in the hopes of finding some positivity, no luck. We genuinely might be fucked

Is it too simplistic to compare Mbappe at Madrid to Ronaldo at United. A brilliant player that makes his team worse?

Think 4 very good ready made players in the next 2 windows is enough to close the gap especially if some of the young players come good

I think it’s just the fact you’re rewarded for farming interactions. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with disagreeing with people but as you say it’s argumentative
comment in response to

I’d like an inbetween platform with healthy disagreement. Both platforms are opposite extremes
comment in response to

Think that aids the clubs narrative that they’re being punished in a disproportionate manner. Think they could argue that a far more significant fine with a reduced ban would sufficiently punish the player but not punish the club as badly
comment in response to
post
My only issue with the ban length is comparing it to Terry, Suarez, Bernardo silva and cavani. It’s the second biggest ban out of them. Still can’t believe Terry got 4 games

100%. Sacking him now could only have negative consequences. We’d be bringing in a manager with similar principles even if we did move him on. Better off waiting till the summer and getting a manager we’d actually want

Werner hattrick?
comment in response to

How much can you reasonably expect a player to improve their weak foot? Seems like he’d be a much better player with a decent left peg on him. Makes him more unpredictable. It’s rare you seen a player improve it significantly though

What position do you think he would be best for in a 433? Think he profiles similar to Felix/Nkunku where it’s hard to fit him in
