Many of my colleagues view the story and fate of #Keiko the orca as a failure. I think this underplays the effort and hard work of many smart, passionate people. We learned a lot about cetacean rehabilitation. Keiko got the dignity of passing away in his home waters, far from his tiny tank.

Looking at lungfish fills me with an emotion that is difficult to describe but its like. We all share an ancestor that looked a bit like that. It feels like meeting a long lost cousin. It makes me feel so connected to the world and all the living things I share ancestors with. I love being an animal

I should make horror art. Dabbled once upon a time. Most of my favorite media IS horror or horror influenced. Specifically I love animals that look wrong, or give off an aura that witnessing or being around them is going to feel like your brain is on fire. Things that we shouldn't ever see.
