We found a nice walk for the dog on our weekend in the mountains and got her all tired out. Nice break from the long car ride. I'm happy tomorrow is Monday and this silly holiday is over.

I've worked on Thanksgiving 20 of the last 21 yrs. Customers are mostly nice and happy we're open. You always see new people. Working is a good excuse not to travel or host. I find holiday travel is overrated.

So about the meeting last night. Haters- Denied Matthew Shepard happened, was a hate crime anyway, and was only two people, Told us Jesus was against gays, Transgender didn't exist cause you "can't change your genes" and... 3 minutes per hater to speak is a bit long.

Today I get to attend a school board meeting where haters are commenting on two sentences in a textbook declaring Governor Polis is the first gay governor. They want the book banned or the page cut out. They do this in the name of god.
