We also have to turn around the willingness of almost 1/2 the country to ingest crap like fox and twitter. Not just because they flood the discourse with lies to gain power but because as long as they drown out truth and prevent true debate and compromise they drag us all down

I think the #1 goal needs to be to get right wing extremist Twitter and Fox out of the rural bars, airports, gyms, our relatives tv’s, etc. Until these venues of lies stop being the background of much of Americans lives, a baseline of truth will not exist from which to have true political debate.

What this for a hot take, in general the democrats have really strong positions across the board (other than Gaza)… step one needs to be to get Trump voters to breakup with Fox and the extreme right media, otherwise there is no way to overcome the lies and false equivalencies.

First time commenter long time follower… The MAGA-verse has Fox News and twitter to keep pumping out their horrible bad takes as legitimate in soooo many bars, hardware stores, lobbies etc…. Until we can remove them from that amount of influence, I don’t know how we start become effective.
