Dashing into corners in SPECTER redirects your momentum upwards instead of stopping you. It's a small touch but it's my favorite feature. It allows mistimed or misaligned movement to turn into more of a fun dance. #gamedev #pixelart #indiedev #indiegame #screenshotsaturday

I also feel this way, but I think it's because the ways that DLC, early access, and games-as-service systems are utilized and advertised is very boring from a consumer pov.

I am playing astro bot and it is really good but I wish 3D platformers didnt have to all look like this. After specter Im gonna make a 3D platformer that plays like astro bot and looks like bloodborne.

I've wondered this too! Although that system is so foundational to how smash feels that it might be hard to use in a unique way. Like any game with "the more damage you take, the further you get knocked back" is going to just kinda feel like smash. Could be REALLY funny in a hero shooter.

I started death stranding for the third time and it’s finally clicking this time. It is remarkably slow but when you accept how rigid the pacing is, it starts to make sense. You’re not meant to get that much done in a short amount of time in that game.
