Anti-DEI is an attack on civil rights by segregationists. Most white "allies" are completely silent while segregationists attack Black people and our civil rights. These silent "allies" without a shred of shame or self-awareness, fully expect Black voters to make sacrifices to save them at midterms

one lesson here might be that letting the government decide a mismanaged industry is "too big to fail" without any serious reprisal or consequence for the responsible parties will eventually lead other mismanaged industries to start making these determinations on their own

I don't worry that much about the fash. My advice: focus more on the non-fash people that you will have around you when the fash shows up. Because some of the people that you think are allies, will be the first to point to the floor boards and say "He's in there!" I prefer reliable people.
