Did "we" bet on it? Because I'm 99% sure that every single one of us knew the outcome. It's just one of us did it anyway. For some reason.

Interesting. I was given this book to read in school. Saskatchewan, back in the old days when the NDP ran the place.

Getting a little tired of Christians getting a free pass on this Nazi shit they keep pulling. Why don't I see "real" Christians protesting this? I think we know why.

Probably they didn't notice, like bigot posted some comment about how we still use the old bad design of can openers and that's an issue that trans friend feels strongly about too, but they didn't look closely enough before following

The Brits blocked him for me Lol 😆

I mean I'm gonna take it, I do believe there must be a way back. But you know, like, provisionally. We'll see, I'm a very long way from trusting him yet. He needs to firmly, loudly give up his transphobic bullshit.

LOL this is gold Camus made me cackle

Token Trans Lady here, and yes, 100%. I voted against PP, and if he won he'd have made it so I can't pee at work and other horrific dehumanizing things like trying to murder trans youth. For sure, 100% PP is a evil monster who'd target kids. He's a standard Christian hate preacher.

I mean... I knew that, right from the start. I plugged my nose and voted for him because the choices were between a Conservative who wanted to take my money and human rights and a Conservative who was content with just my money. Yay, I can dream of better but it wasn't on the menu this round.

There isn't ever going to be justice until we've had our revenge, regime change won't be enough.

Anyway, this little rant is actually pretty unhinged and my rabies is showing lol haha rabies People talk about community, but I've never had one. If I wasn't a giant I would have been crushed decades ago. It's all just reaction, privilege, hardship and human misery inflicted upon other humans.

We're not the fucking same, we're not in the same "community" -- whatever that is, I mean you say the wrong thing in an emotional moment and they turn on you. Someone called this person a Nazi, you kidding me? Wrong yeah sure but a nazi? That's fucked.

People are furious with this person and I kinda am too but hey -- that's what people with privilege do. They clearly made it, and look, they GET TO focus on activism. I GET TO work a slave job, I GET TO struggle alone, I have no future, nothing to look forward to except the peace of the grave.

This is the Quebec government actively, knowingly and willingly V-Coding these people. Cruelty is the point.

That's not my story at all. My life is hard and lonely, and a large part of that is because of Christian bigots making education and healthcare illegal for me. I have deep trauma I'll never recover from. No, I want the next generations to have it better, it gives my suffering a reason.

A bad day that everyone was expecting. It had zero, literally ZERO chance of having a fair shake. It was a stupid mistake to even bring this to SCOTUS.

Haha so true, sometimes someone gives me one of those validating talks and it's so awkward lol I mean it's nice, but it's so uncomfortable. Yeah, I appreciate the good intentions of fancy-folk but I'm just a small town country doofus.

LOL that's actually kind of cute in a cheesy sort of way, sometimes the old folks aren't so bad. I've actually learned to not judge a book by its cover, most of my pals are prairie rednecks but not a one of them was as transphobe despite appearances.
comment in response to post
Yeah tell me about it. I fondly recall those moments, lol

I mean ok I know Wes Streeting is a right fucker who deserves to swing but I thought he mostly hated trans people, apparently he has room to hate just a whole lot more people too.

Ok I'm Canadian, so the UK is like a bizarre weird fantasy kingdom but seriously what kind of messed up pocket dimension is the UK located in where the THESE people don't vote to decriminalize abortion? God damn it, I really am a lucky little shit to be in Canada where we have a bit of sane.

lol it is, I feel it's so rare to bump into another trans person in public somewhere it should be explicitly allowed that we're allowed to run up and have a little dance. Don't get me started on sneaky trans men, every time I see a short guy in a leather jacket I'm like, "is he...?"
comment in response to post
I've always HATED this. Like bitches trans people are really good at spotting other trans people, can we move past that? I always get excited the rare time I see another one of us around town and it's annoying I can't go say hi. It's lead to this weird thing where I don't have any trans friends IRL

I get tired of letting these kinds of people get away with it. We're really far too kind and patient with the Right and their evil.
comment in response to post
That's a big ask lol

Republicans will throw out their own healthcare to hurt trans people. Totally insane, not when the media, gov't and churches all preach lies this is what happens.
comment in response to post
Eh, I've come to the conclusion that edgy anti-religious teenage me that looked down on Christians as dippy delusional dingbats was right all along. I'm tired of people giving them a pass on their anti-queer and misogynist bullshit.
comment in response to post
This stuff seems *insane* to me. If i was told the UK was ruled by a magic 8ball that would actually be less crazy than a House of Lords. Brits are subjected to way, way too much dumb shit.

He lost because Canadians rejected maga Nazism and his new softer image is more bigotry and fake election denial. Lol ok

Maybe they'll get so full of shit they'll just explode.

Good question. The DNC really couldn't come across as more weak and pathetic.

Lol as a rule I avoid tv, and definitely reality tv. But I'd make an exception to watch that lol

The less a country has in common with the UK the better off it is.
