Is it spoilers? Is it headcanon? Is it an AU? Whatever I'm clearing the cache in my brain, I'll worry about spoilers when I actually know more about what I'm looking at
comment in response to post
I'm not terribly worried about spoilers myself. I've only played Undertale and have not yet touched Deltarune (I know I knooow) and I have the amazing ability to look right at spoilers of something I'm unfamiliar with and retain none of it XD;

Meanwhile I could use the levity and good news with everything currently going on in the world @_@ Tho making her official would be like throwing a grenade into the middle of the fandom and I'm equal parts shellshocked at that idea and equal parts wanting popcorn for it

Everyone, use the #Sega, #Sonic, and #SonictheHedgehog hashtags. Tag the Sega and Sonic accounts. POLITELY let them know that we want Sally Acorn to be included in Sonic Blitz. Make so much noise that they have to hear us!
comment in response to post
I mean, Ian has said that if we want any chance of getting them back that we need to (politely) make as much noise as we can about it to Sega via their socials. If this is the noise that gets them to hear, @sega-west.bsky.social, please hear us when we say we want Sally Acorn #Sega #SonictheHedgehog

Right?? XD Like. I'm not at all holding my breath because I refuse to let my heart get broken again. But it's a nice thought all the same
comment in response to post
I slightly disagree? If Sega wanted to test the waters with how marketable spinoff characters like Sally are, then a mobile game is about as low effort/low risk a way as they could do it. I've willingly paid full price for IDW characters' vaults in Speed Battle because I firmly believe money talks

I'm sorry for causing you to feel attacked. I'm uncertain how to word my response as I feel as though I may have miscommunicated my intent. My intent was never to attack, but a genuine effort to try to help communicate and explain

"Somebody" is singular, but the person in question is consistently referred to as they/them/theirs, and this is considered a grammatically correct sentence.
comment in response to post
I understand singular they/them pronouns can be confusing for some folks. Singular they is actually very common though, and it's possible you might regularly use it without realizing! For example: "Somebody left their umbrella in the office. Could you please let them know where they can get it?"

How would a life like that make you feel?

You're a woman, but imagine if you were barred from women's spaces because everyone insisted that you're a man? You're just trying to get through the day. They fear you just for being there. Imagine the constant anxiety that would hang over you for something as simple as needing to use the bathroom
comment in response to post
You're a woman, but you're criticized if you try to dress feminine or wear makeup. They treat you like you're wearing a costume when you're just trying to look nice and feel good about yourself. You're a woman, what's wrong with that? They INSIST that you're a man and to ACT like one. But you're not
comment in response to post
It sounds like you might already have a level of understanding then? I'm not sure to what degree you get treated that way, like if the people there call you "he" constantly or if they still recognize you as a woman, but imagine if being treated like a man was every facet of your life
comment in response to post
You mentioned you identify as a woman? How would it make you feel if folks couldn't tell and defaulted to calling you a man? How would being called a "he" make you feel? How would you feel if you tried to correct them, asked to be called "she", but they told you you were wrong and insisted on "he"?

My mannerisms and how I outwardly present myself might change, based off of current cultural expectations, depending on whether I feel closer to a man or a woman. But it's done in an attempt to reflect WHO I am, not how I was born. How do you describe something that feels as natural as breathing?
comment in response to post
Gender is something deeper than that. It's honestly hard to describe. I'm genderfluid; sometimes I identify more as a woman, sometimes more as a man, often a mix of both. I genuinely wish I could shapeshift my body at will to align more with that deeper feeling so that my body feels more like me
comment in response to post
Clothing/makeup is cultural, not necessarily gendered. What clothing is considered masculine or feminine changes over time; men historically wearing makeup and high heels was once considered very masculine, and today only the most staunch traditionalists take issue with women wearing pants
comment in response to post
If you genuinely want to understand, then I would first ask you, do we need to understand one gender from another and why do you feel it's important to do so?

What's that symbol on the Transfem flag? I've not seen it before!
