I am putting the phone down So I can focus on other stuff. Just didn't want you to think I was ignoring you. Thank you for the conversation.

I am glad you are not on a watch either. Listen, I apologize for the cop comments. And I am really glad we spoke. I don't want to leave you hanging because I really did enjoy talking with you. Feel free to send me a dm if you want to continue talking or a friend request.

It doesn't help that following WW2 we went into the space race. Vietnam. Korea. Panama. Cold war. Desert Storm. That's a lot of money.

That's really shitty. I feel you on that. I remember when I was working a minimum wage job, roughly 20 hours a week while I was in highschool. I brought home maybe 13k. Still made too much. They sure want to take but when it's time to return the favor they act like they don't know you.

The issue now is the cost of living keeps rising and the pay is staying the same. Minimum wage hasn't been raised in almost 13 years. Let's look at healthcare. Next time you go to the hospital ask for an itemized bill. That will show you everything you are paying for. Even the aspirin.

There it is. This is where we can start jamming. People weren't going broke in the 70s and 80s due to the cost of living being on par with the average pay rate. Granted it wasn't AS good as it was in the previous decades but it was still better than what we have today.

I too hate reddit. Right as stated in a previous reply to another poster. Capitalism when added is fine. It is when capitalism is the sole source, that is when you run into issues we have been talking about.

Why don't you qualify? Seriously asking. Are they saying you make too much? Because I am totally down to help you get some benefits. We can research and put our heads together.

America. Literally 3 companies own everything. When you went to fill out your application to be a cop did they require you to beat your wife before or after your training?

It's amazing what will happen when people's basic needs are met. Not to mention they pay a living wage. Weird how these ethics seem to benefit and not destroy. But this ruins your whole edgy nihilist argument. Nice try, cop.

People in the EU sure are a hell of a lot happier. 30 days paid time off to start, on top of their holidays. Both males and females get to take maternity leave and it's paid. They have 2 healthcare structures. Free and premium. The only difference is premium you get to pick your doctor.

You are 100% correct. Capitalism on its own works; It works exactly how it's supposed to for a select few. It is when we start merging capitalism with other economic structures that is when the real party starts. But on its own: it's like RFK jrs brain worm. It's there, but is it supposed to be?

You didn't express your view. Just said nope. So instead of bringing something to the table you dismissed the notion all together. At that point it was up to you to continue the dialogue. Child orphan crushing machine.

It's capitalism homie. The only ethics behind capitalism is step on those before they step in you. Then maybe if you are lucky Capitalist Jesus will bless you.

Some of you keep missing the point and it is horrifying. Putin wants Ukraine for their uranium. He wants to build back up a nuclear arsenal that can't be touched. In simple terms the only way to get peace is to dismantle the Russian government. That starts by dismantling Trump and his cabinet.

The problem with laws is if a person doesn't respect them you really can't threaten them with any of them. Musk also came over with apartheid money, he would have just bought himself out of any trouble anyways.
Want to make Sure this doesn't happen again? Start making examples.

It's from 2019 as well. It's just funny how the easiest solution is normally the answer. One day kids will learn - not everyone needs to know what you are doing 24/7. Sometimes, leave the phone at home and sometimes it pays to keep your head down.

Totally agree. I would also argue shows like Miami Ink helped to bring it to the forefront but at the same time is responsible for a bit of the over saturation. Gatekeeping is weird to me. But I understand the urge to keep something just as a them thing.

Sorry for the thread reply. But I couldn't find a way to limit this message to little character count. And, needs to be said this is anecdotal so I may be way off base and out of touch myself.

With an uptick in political discourse we should see more punk ethics coming back. More punk/hardcore bands wearing their political identity as a badge. Double that with the majority of hardcore artists either working or have close friends in the industry. Not to mention folk punk gaining traction.

I worked in the industry for 10 years. Granted I was a piercer - the tattoo studio I worked at wasn't the most attractive shop but it wasn't the worst. Early 2000's I would say was the peak of the culture. However with the current political discourse I can see that changing.

It is wild it is this open. OSU was built off the backs of college basketball and football athletes. Mainly their black athletes. Yes a solid reputation in academia is nice and all - but that last football game just netted them a few million.

So you didn't hear about drunk Kurt Russell putting back on the eye patch and addressing the world as Snake Pliskin. But he was drunk and with the eye patch it came off more as Captain Ron? Anyways......

We are still at the political opponents and immigrants. Not defending, but expect the push to be large for the LGBT+ when it happens. This is just testing the waters. It's going to get ugly.
