This submissive cuck is just begging for a spanking from madam secession.

Can we assemble a team of teenagers to invade Starlink and re-divert funds back to Ukraine?

I need one of those church choirs to produce a song about how Elon Musk can lick nuts.

The image looks like some sort of Lifetime movie, or perhaps something more riskaaaay on Skinamax.

Let’s see what a blue state secession does to their new currency setup.

Perfect! God, I hope she sees these.

Agreed. There are people who wouldn’t jump off a burning boat because there’s a “no jumping allowed” sign.

I was blocked for asking him if he took pride in the Access Hollywood tapes (but in an impolite way).

I don’t know why, it’s absolutely unnecessary, but Utah loves reminding us how awful they are.

And they’re punishing NY with NY’s money!

If blue states withhold taxes, and nullify or secede or whatever you want to call it, we can divert some of those taxes to blue areas within red states. The ones who didn’t ask for any of this.

We save what we can.

Still waiting for your citation of the taxation-by-direct-payroll clause in the constitution.
Then show me the part that says states can’t deliver those taxes to the federal government. Or the part that says states can’t change state law to involve itself in the process?
comment in response to
post
Just the idea of those blue states having that power, to violate the law and withhold, should give everyone pause.
comment in response to
post
If the state then refuses to pay those taxes forward, that’s illegal. But up until that point, no laws have been violated.
comment in response to
post
Nope. No confusion. You are correct, it’s illegal to withhold federal taxes. It’s not illegal, however, for states to deliver those taxes. If a state changes its laws so that taxes first go to the state, and the state then passes them along. There’s nothing in the constitution about that.

Show me the part of the constitution that discusses payroll deductions.
comment in response to
post
Well then you’re wrong.
comment in response to
post
The US constitution does not address how the taxes are to be collected or who delivers those taxes to the Feds. Are you suggesting states can’t change their own laws on how federal taxes are collected and delivered?
comment in response to
post
Blue states aren’t looking to start Civil War. If the Feds want to start one over a little dispute that’s their choice. But it’s our money they’re burning. That’s how I know something like secession will happen. Not because it’s the right thing to do, but because there’s too much money.
comment in response to
post
Well, there is a legal mechanism for states to have federal tax directed to them. Nothing illegal about changing the laws to do that. Changing laws gives them that mechanism you were originally talking about.
comment in response to
post
You’re focusing on what we’re “allowed” to do, about what’s “legal”. I think we’re well past that, don’t you?
Secession or no secession, at some level we’ll need to fight for our rights.

Just another exhibit of evidence for blue state secession.

States can change their laws, allowing those states to be the middle man on taxes. A shot across the bow, but not illegal. Definitely sends a message. Now, should states withhold those taxes, that’s where the egg breaking comes into play. Also, violence is probably unavoidable anyway.
comment in response to
post
It can actually. There’s never going to be a friendly secession, and we aren’t going to be asking permission. You’ve got to break some eggs at some point, if you can afford them.
comment in response to
post
That mechanism could be put in place by changing state laws.
