Monstrous regiment?

I know generators don't literally cut and paste. Yet at the same time they are capable of near exactly recreating training images with minimal prompting. See the "Italian video game plumber" prompt example. Everything they produce has been made possible by the original artists.

There is creativity in selection, granted. But prompting still selects from creative choices made by others, regurgitated by an algorithm. In my mind, all the labor of execution is stolen. Sorry if I come off harsh. It's an emotional topic for me

I feel like even then you’re just deliberately choosing which dish to order at the restaurant. The actual work is being done by the cook/photographer/illustrator

Oh, nice! This is the work that I feel is most me. Big shapes and a flat feel, but still with some depth and still figurative.

Ah, that's my point of confusion. Maybe I use invoices differently. Currently I send a pdf with a specification of my work, total costs and banking info they use to wire the payment. They could easily wire more. Do you describe invoice software where they can only send the specified amount?
