Pretty much. I can't imagine experiencing these games passively through someone else first but I guess there's enough people who do.

I wouldn't expect single player to be good in something advertised for 3 players and no 2 player option.

Was like that in soldier of fortune. Sure pain and dying sucks but we're trying to have fun here!

Some of the things I want to do most are a real problem for late 30s. It is time to fade away.

Isn't it part of their passion project world they've been making since the first PlayStation? More people should buy arena fighters then.

The Fuga games are fun, not sure how many people play them though.

Never enjoyed Elder Scrolls, but for decades old games I liked BG2 a whole lot more than BG3 which is a more similar of a game than Oblivion.

I have one of these, they're very good. The thumb sticks are a bit of a weird shape but its nearly perfect.

I don't even particularly like the game and this was also my main takeaway.

I think they evidently failed to make it relatable or believable to many people. Sometimes for understandable reasons, sometimes for weird gamer reasons.

I think the HBO series has a good chance to extrapolate on the reality of what it means to be in a broken world devoid of psychiatric care. Having ptsd induced panic attacks isn't so easily solved by being in a caring relationship (i've had a friend take his own life in a similar situation)

When did she just go "this is bad"? Of the problems people have with the second game, I don't think that was the intent.

Looked very much like a trailer made for a multiplayer only Switch game but the mental image of a Bloodborne 2 glazed over everyone's eyes.

Red Candle went from making some of the best horror games to the best metroidvania imo. Its a shame they're seemingly rather unknown.

GoW, Insomniacs Spiderman, Shadow of Mordor, Sifu, Jedi Survivor, Ghost of Tsushima are all solid but there's not much in the way of pure character action type games.

A crude stick figure drawing as a gift is more meaningful than someone sending you a generated image. Its all completely disposable noise.

That game relied on downloading a bunch of addons for an optimal experience. Unless its changed, haven't touched it after the studio was in multiple scandals.

I mean the director is a gamergate supporter either way. He just found the leopards who eat faces by including gay romance options.

Is the director still a pro-gamergate "anti-woke" type?

Horror games like Silent Hill employs both to great effect. Even something like the save room in Resident Evil uses melody for contrasting respite.

Tried a few and don't care for the character designs or repetitive grind gameplay. They clearly have talent though and it would be interesting to see more non gacha games by them, kind of how Granblue has done.
