Great post and totally agree, have fallen into the trap of db logic over application logic before, fine until team members change and knowledge transfer suffers, there’s nothing worse than someone else’s code, except maybe someone else’s complicated SQL! 😆

Interesting read!
My main takeaways from this are;
- leet code should be ditched
- cover letters should be ditched
- recruiters don't like candidates using the same tools they have
- recruiters won't admit to using those tools
