Something very wrong if we and/or our Pacific allies didn’t see the flotilla coming! Maybe just hush hush… but live fire drills with short notice only given to planes/craft in immediate vicinity very rude!!! Took well over an hour for the message to pass from NZ civil aviation to Aussie top brass!

Scared, gleefully watching someone else’s car crash, helpless, entertained, not fully grasping the significance and how this will change our western world for the worse… I don’t know… but I am very sympathetic to Ukraine - they must be feeling so betrayed.

Perhaps Taiwanese strategy could be to let China know that they may entertain Hong Kong style system… ask for 10 years to give population chance to consider, have a referendum… by then China implodes or USA is practically geared up… and/or support proper HK agreement with threat of sanctions…

Actually we are 7.7 million km2, just a tad smaller than 9.? million Km2 (including Alaska and Hawaii). But Aussie looks epic overlaid on USA! So glad our population no where near USA!!!

Cook Islands are a member of the British Commonwealth and has “free association” with New Zealand (NZ props them up) who is part of 5 Eyes (I think) - leverage should be able to be applied to clarify ship owners, cargoes etc etc
