I don't believe that Gov Abbott has said anything about the measles outbreak. His entire focus is on getting the voucher scam passed. It's almost like he has money riding on it. His appearances are only at private schools, guess he can't sell vouchers directly to public school parents.

Thanks for the great news! Twitter seems to be broken this important morning. You just got another follow. I hope I can move all of my Bears & Cubs follows to BlueSky.

We already knew that. He will have AI search for responses that can be used to continue justify Musk/Doge existence. It's all one big show to keep MAGA support that he can then amplify on Twitter.

Nothing new has been appropriated yet, so they seem to be including other Federal agencies and the DoD who have budget and personnel already available. Trump did the same thing with the border wall in his first term, using defense budget.

What kind of intelligent autocorrect changes Spurr to Spurrier when the original post clearly says Mt Spurr?

I was in Anchorage in 1992 when Spurrier erupted and sent a few inches of ash fall our way. Very eerie but kinda cool.

I don't believe that we ever received an accounting of the first inauguration. Grift is the name of the game.

As well as The Game of Thrones with endless scenes of bending the knee to pledge fealty to the king or queen.

This list corresponds with more citizens with health care, better education, and fewer smokers. I'm sure there are many more factors as well. If only MAGA folks would pay attention, they would be much better off in Democrat run states. I guess they don't care about themselves or family.

Any garlicky dish, fresh chewy sourdough bread with Irish butter, and a hearty red wine are impossible to top.

I went back to twitter/x last night to check on my sports follows, and every post was an attack on Dana Goldberg. It's like walking into a dark city full of zombies.

It feels more like "Cheers", where everyone knows you name. Definitely like a neighborhood pub or coffee shop. I like it!

While I must rake the leaves in my front yard, per the HOA, I then spread them under my growing backyard canopy. I've been gradually reclaiming yard from the Augustine grass with small trees & shrubs with a natural forest floor underneath. More birds and small animals visit now. Less mowing!

Great starter pack with the easy push of one button. I followed over half of this list on twitter.

I thought I'd find you here. Time to get the band back together. When do the daily trivia questions start up again? Always eager for some front range news. I was in Denver in October visiting son & dil. I changed my profile pic from a longhorn to an exasperated 3-year-old me. Just how I feel today.
