Inspired by @heavytable.com @longfellowwhatever.bsky.social the spouse made us breakfast burritos just now. Scrambled egg, cheddar, tomato, roasted poblano, pickled onion with avocado & sour cream. A solid 5, with extra points for not having to leave home.

I don't know how many of those small town nursing homes would go under but I feel like its more then half. It feels like most of them already very very close to broke, and if medicare/medicaid get reduced even a little that will destroy them.

If I had a band or a label, I would do a punk cover of "No More Kings" from Schoolhouse Rock. And then I would gather a bunch of people to write a whole album of next-generation Schoolhouse Rock songs, with songs about Social Security and Medicaid and NOAA. I am not kidding in the least.
