What a loser he is. Wow.
I stopped watching MSM news altogether after the coverage went all Trump last summer. This is the first clip I've heard of him speaking since he took office...was nice to forget lol.

Another example of how there is only one leader in a cult and while u may be important today...it's transactional. Once your purpose has been served you are disposed of.
Clearly the right in this country has never seen Return of the Jedi.

Yes it is, $1500 fam of 5 bronze here as a small biz owner. Criminal. It makes me not want to own a business.

I have used LLM's as a returning graduate student to help me critically think about new subject matters in my courses I am not experienced with. I have used LLM's to help me understand at mid-life what kind of learner I actually am.
Education needs to embrace AI as a teaching tool FAST. I did.

I have realized that about myself too, ty for sharing.
To build on your idea, I now see I did that w/ trauma since childhood...just not experience it in real time or too often not at all.
The on/off switch can be very unhealthy.

Unfortunately, both of the senators from (Hawley lives in IA. so not really from lol) Missouri are exactly like the candidate personally. So phone calls won't work for us here.

I tried Facebook yrs ago for about 4 months. I learned what some of my old college friends & way too many family relations were really like.
I did Twitter for 10 yrs anonymous and then too many users were like those I left back on FB (& rl!)...left permanently for here a few months ago.

Yes, Jess actively recruits in rural Mo so there can be at least some form of competition. Very difficult for her tho, many just struggling in Missouri just to pay bills much less take 5 months off a year to get paid 30k.
But it does take a single candidate and that's how a movement starts, agreed.

I don't live in a rural area. We are an active political district where I live already in a city.

We would love to, but many of these seats are now uncontested in the rural areas.

The biggest question I always end up with is...who works for these types?
I was a political staffer / manager in a past life and typically the office holder shares many personality traits with their staff.

Subconscious awareness that white men are losing their multi century political, cultural, and economic dominance w/the coming inevitable racial demographic shift near 2040 when whites are no longer the majority in US?
Also, the culture left these types Abt 40 yrs ago?

I am always shocked by the number of fellow gen X'ers who clearly were provided with tons of civics education and simply forgot it or ignored it (aka Maga).

No it doesn't and my guess is that's the point sadly (selling a narrative). There is nothing democratic about who raided Damascus. I would imagine they will quickly side with Iran / Russia b/c they have no money.

Unfortunately they will be ruled by violent, repressive, religious fundamentalists (aka "the rebels") that are anti-west / anti-democratic. 😕

Hard to understate the US electorate picking Reagan is a lot like picking Trump
1979 v 2016/20/24 present 2 totally different Americas picking professional entertainers who otherwise lacked other career skills
Perhaps the difference this time around is whites Abt to lose majority demographically?

Agreed Ann, we need more educators in leadership roles (Zelenski (Ukraine) played an educator on TV!) in all walks for civil society.
I really like Trudeau, but it seems like he isn't seen as up for this moment (who is w/Trump). Freeland appears to have the background to lead the left now in CA?
comment in response to

My understanding was the now former finance minister was really the brains of that political party?
Trudeau has always seemed like a really good person and solid head of state. However wasn't his background a grade school teacher and he is a "legacy" (his father)?

Ty @adamkinzinger.bsky.social for continuing to highlight the evolving story of Georgian freedom. I wish we had more IR focused conservatives like you in our political system.
Good ideas are there across the political spectrum. Every good democracy needs healthy progressive & conservative leaders.

Yeah we really churn out some winners here in Mo., eh?
Everyone should check in on our 20+ yr supermajority in the state legislature that has the civics education of a 3rd grade white male in 1897. 🤦

Even as an entrepreneur for 20 yrs I'm still always blown away how people will create stupid and or destructive industries just to hold power over others
I work around so many businesses in my space that should not exist and do nothing but cause more cost for consumers & ultimately damages industry

Returned 2 yrs ago to complete my BA at umsl (25 yrs ltr lol) and then immediately on to grad school - program is stem designated and AI is literally the name of the game for too many students like in every respect you can think of.
A undergrad language prof. recently shared how worried she is
comment in response to

Obviously this is poor execution. However, I think it's naive of anyone to think that AI isn't going to be driving education moving forward. It already is and sadly in the wrong way as students are abusing it to bypass classroom and grading rules.
I am in grad school and I see it daily...
