Here is test #2, without a lip because I'm still undecided lol!

Oooh okay gonna have to give that smoky eye a shot (I do love my liquid black eyeshadow!) I'm assuming this is what you mean with lining up the contour?
comment in response to post
Omfg this is all fabulous advice, thank you so much! I hadn't even considered aligning my contour with the wing. For the additional smoke, should I keep with the warm orange brown shades, or try a sparkly charcoal color? Would I just concentrate it on the outer edge, under the wing?

In other words, terrible UI is everywhere. Once someone inserts their card and the transaction is processing, the screen should only change ONCE: when it's time to remove your card. No other information is necessary. Anything else shown on screen is gonna tempt me to yank my card out early.

I really pisses me off now, knowing that I might've been able to avoid the nightmares. The anxiety. The breakdowns. The aversion and ensuing neglect of my dental health. I just wish I'd known that it didn't have to be like that.

My dental office is really good about offering nitrous oxide, or even a mild sedative for more intense procedures. But I really wish I'd known about these options in my early 20s. If I had, maybe I wouldn't be so avoidant of dental care a decade later.

*Me, strategically moving voodoo dolls onto various locations of the color spectrum*: Yes.... the ritual is nearly complete.

I'm located in the US and can see Children of Men has Audio Description as an option for me. If you're browsing Prime video on desktop, you may need to select "Details" to see all available audio languages. Prime also lets you filter and browse by Audio Described titles.

The Audio Description Project maintains a master list of movies and TV shows with AD, and where you can stream them! adp.acb.org

It might just be that I'm motivated by a sense of obligation lol! Structure and schedules can take many forms. This was just what I happened to choose!

Honestly, streaming is the only thing helping me stick to a schedule and try new things. If I say I'm gonna play something at a certain time, I make a commitment to viewers and to myself! I like the structure.

I'm a fan of the solar punk aesthetic as well!

If you're into sci-fi, I adore the Bobiverse series. Very entertaining look at far-future technology, with very geeky humor, new worlds and alien species, and all sorts of interesting exploration.

The logo on top was a frozen buttercream transfer. Basically, I printed it out in reverse, taped wax paper over top, piped buttercream frosting onto the design, then froze it. Once solid, I flipped the whole thing over onto the top of the cake, and peeled off the wax paper to reveal the design!

When posting an image of gif, include a text description in the "Alt" field. You can set a reminder for yourself to do this, in your settings!
comment in response to post
It should be alt texted. In theory users can run an image through some kind of image recognition software to read the text or describe the image, but that requires several extra steps. They'll just scroll past. If it's a screenshot of text, you can always just copy paste the text into the Alt field

Unfortunately there are many companies which will use low quality TTS voices. But if it's difficult to tell, it's probably a human! Heck, I've been told I sound like an AI voice during live broadcasts, even though they can hear me cough, stutter, or mispronounce things!
