In case you can't tell, I hate free handing circles, ellipses or very round blobs. I try to do it in a single stroke so it's nice and smooth and not wobbly, but then I can never be accurate.
Weedle here could use some cleanup and I see plenty I want to fix, but it's time to move on.

Also, I don't know if it's Bluesky or (more likely) just my desktop monitor, but the colors (especially the pale blue) look noticeably paler on my desktop compared to my iPad... noted.

I think it's the eyes and the head. Here's the reference image. I'm trying not to worry about matching everything perfectly 1:1, as long as the "vibe" feels right and the proportions are good.
I think the problem is the angle of the head. Mine doesn't look like he's looking down properly.

One of those things you don't really think about until you do: Charizard and Moltres are the only dual-type Fire Pokémon in Gen 1. And as mentioned, Moltres is cheating.
