It has been bothering me to hear people say those AHs temporarily in power are “decimating” things. This language is not nearly strong enough. It literally means to reduce by 10% though if people use it incorrectly for long enough, that becomes accepted usage. The word we need to use is ANNIHILATE.

How I feel about this administration: It’s like growing up with adults you love who regularly fight and scream and curse each other and beat each other up. It sucks the joy out of you but you can find good in the interstices and you can do whatever good you can while taking care of yourself as well.
