I mean, they can just say that. I recently received a card from my husband's aunt who had just earned about my cancer, and she said, "I never know what to say, but I'm thinking of you." I really appreciated it.

I'm aware, but I appreciate the reassurance! <3 The one thing I really couldn't handle is neuropathy in my hands (I'm a knitter and crocheter) and that is a conversation I'm going to have with my onc before I start anything

I am also 49, also have cancer, and have six cats? Still getting used to bluesky, but I'm here. Enjoy knitting and crocheting, watching ridiculous amounts of tv, and libraries (former librarian)

Thanks for this. I am living with metastatic breast cancer and sometimes it kicks me in the teeth, but a lot of the time I just don't (can't) think about it
