ARM typically sells "plans" for processors to other companies so that they can integrate it into their chips, sometimes making tweaks for different optimizations. Sounds like here they're going to the next step of having it manufactured (dealing with TSMC) and then selling to Meta.

Could there be backlash from your management? Is there a risk you could be removed from your job? I understand the position you are wanting to take, but would it be worse for your students if you get replaced?

I don't understand why developers force out the businesses only to let the vacant properties fall dilapidated while any building activity is stuck in development hell.
