This is surely the single most banal, painfully bougie article I have ever read in my six decades of reading articles. Congrats.

Not surprised. After watching her Rutgers highlight reel, I wanted to draft her for my fantasy league. I had to email the league's support team to ask them add her to the draft pool. ¡Volemossss!

Yeah, I'm talking about April 19, 1995--the day Zoey's birthday and my fresh new screenplay were both canceled cuz OKC. Happy to send you the script if interested. It's good, but will never be made.

Same day I handed my agent a spec screenplay about a right wing militia launching a terrorist attack on the US Capitol to derail a vote on gun control legislation. During my drive home, where OKC was on the news, it went from "implausible" to "too hot to handle."

They don't care if we march and rally and sing folk songs. Two words, America: General. Strike.

Or did they just see a white woman playing for Portugal? 🤷‍♂️

Let's. And let's try to get the starting lineups right. I spent the first 15 minutes trying to figure out who was ACTUALLY playing!

Thanks, Chris, for your courage and sacrifice. You and Kaep are the ONLY NFL players with a conscience and the cojones to match. 🙌🏼

I just got a response to my letter to Adam Schiff telling him please stop voting to approve Trump nominees as he did Doug Collins. His response? "Please know that I will consider each of the President's nominees individually on their merits." Adam. Schiff.

But -- and I would like to see a 100% turnover in Democratic Party leadership -- he's not wrong. Beer, pizza, gas, guac. Right message, wrong messenger?

Pumas fan here. Can't argue with success, but I do miss them both.

I like Tigres, but Pumas are my team, ever since I visited Mexico City a few years ago and fell in love with the University. I dig seeing the establishing shot on VIX of Estadio OlÍmpico and the O'Gorman Biblioteca mural behind it, and all the student supporters.

And this is why I (63) identify as Gen Jones rather than Boomer. I have no interest in any of those. Protest music to me is Public Image, The Clash, and Billy Bragg.

Y'all like to quote that one verse that appears only in Matthew, and contradicts every single other sentiment in the Gospel. Sad.

Compassion. Diversity. Equality. Impecuniousness. You know, the stuff Jesus preached.
