I mean...now that you say it. Some hair gel and we are kinda there.

Yeah, divided up mine by continents with countries of interest with a separate tab for academics that post research so it doesn't get lost in the noise. Lists are great. Not being able to add people while I'm in the list from those I follow, less so.

Yeah, I'd like to see that as well. Gets real crowded real easy.
comment in response to post
Yeah, doing that right now. Somehow missed that feature completely. Thoughts feeds were all that there was.
comment in response to post
Nevermind, it is actually, I'm just a dumbass. Thanks. I think it's best to leave it so people that don't know can see as well?
comment in response to post
Hey Bluesky, could we get an option to curate our own feeds with groups of people we follow? Instead of having to pop open the hood, if we could get an option to create lists of people that would be great.

I think this is what happens when you want kids but don't actually like women. You just go for the bare minimum of contact so as not to get cootiefied.

It seems to be an almost civilizationally spanning characteristic, defference to authority, even when that authority is fascistic. If Trump was the guy outside a 7/11 screaming about tarrifs, everyone would just avoid him. Millions of people voted for him though, so now he is wise...somehow.

Someone's gotta be the kindling for the fires they'll set.

Bannon and Musk sieg heiled and nobody in their surroundings paid it any mind. I don't know how much hope there is for those folks.

Well, if the comments are anything to go by, the only adage that isn't absolute balls is the one you don't think about.

He'd defend it with the, it produced the racism as a reaction. The cop out is there in the 2nd half. Watched a recent video from him, he still thinks woke people and cancel culture are relevant topics to be concerned about.

Yeah, as long as their donors go to the same dinner parties as the republican ones that ain't happening...or are just the same ones that give to both sides. Wonder if someone would be willing to start grifting to the right to get the bag from the remaining Koch and then jump the fence.

Maybe also enforce a rule that you can't hold political office after 70? Don't even need to foresee problems there. The democrats are dying in their seats, literally.

I think it's good bread and butter type of content for right wing content creators trying to get their foot in the door. I remember watching a lot of sargon of akkad takedown and commentary videos in my teens. Ragebait is real easy to churn out.

How do you know that it's enough and you don't need to add anymore facts or stories into the book? Do you think we have been teaching fascism and in general history wrong to elementary and high schoolers? Did textbooks go over such subjects in too shalow a manner maybe?

It truly is amazing how someone can identify with the joker and still think they are a good guy.

True, they are both numerous and rarely visible. It's very easy to dismiss people.

Yeah, if only someone could convince the western liberal elites as well so they can stop running in circles like headless chickens and come out with a coherent ideological framework to staunch the bleeding of voters to fascism.

Then if you are from where I'm from you run into the toxic masculinity part of the equation that believes you either work or you die if you have no-one to take care of you. The idea of integrating chronically ill or mentally colourful people into society to them is foreign.
comment in response to post
I don't think it's just that. I've had a lot of people tell me that people with mental ilness should just push through; or have told me, with crohn's that I just need to get out more. We do have an empathy problem, but it isn't the overabundance of it.

So just pants? I can't think of any other differences between them except the useless pockets.

Can you get around it if it just keeps on going like this though? These folks are trying to remake the USA in their image. That requires some serious overtime hours and they seem willing to put them in.

The silver lining in all of this might be that people drink less simply because of money. Or moonshiners make a comeback.

Maybe it's time to give Gary Stevenson a call again or at least mention his ideas when the topic of "where do we find the money" comes up again. His ideas are good too.

I don't have a visa and something tells me I won't have an easy time getting one with how things are. Best of luck in your search.

Is this a position strictly for US based folks?

He's moved away from the idw and classical liberal spiel completely. You can check out his more recent videos. He has repeteatedly come out in defence of HasanAbi and had a talk with Vaush where he laid out his vision and plans moving forward if you want to scout him out.

Also, Kyle has low comments on bluesky so you could reach out easily if you wanted to colab. Wouldn't get lost in the noise. I guess it depends on who is running the account.

Asmongold's figured it out, I'm sure you can too. For the cause sister. This is a global struggle now, thanks to the yanks screwing the pooch. Wait for when it's a slow day, throw him 10 bucks and a link. The age of the daring is upon us.
comment in response to post
Hate to butt in but I would suggest going in HasanAbi's chat and sharing your work. It's easy to get his attention usually. Vaush and Kyle Kulinski have been talking about boosting important voices as well. JimmytheGiant and gary's economics in the UK. And wasn't soros supposed to be funding us?

Seconded. If you want to start putting out the texts I'll gladly pay for the privilege. You don't have to worry about the podcast taking a hit, I'll still have it in the background while I'm playing TW Warhammer 3.
