If I were NIH researchers, I’d publish everything. The last thing I’d want is for some venture capitalist to cash in big on NIH early discovery. American taxpayers paid for that.

I’m a team coach and I stay away from this tactic. It helps that I can’t fire anybody. I have to use persuasion and pay attention to little things that might turn into bigger things. But mostly, I just like people and I like helping them.
I don’t think Elon does.

Maybe some of them are just now processing all of Trump’s crimes and bad behavior. It’s suddenly all making sense. They were persuaded by magical thinking that Trump’s second term would be like his first. The full weight of the con must be smacking them in the head right now.

Better yet, get him on every instance of PII he misuses. CA, CO, CT and other states have digital privacy laws that penalize for every instance. He could be bankrupted easily.
I could get fired at work for handling PII the way Elon has.

I’ve noticed that the immigration talking points are going over like lead balloons at the Republican town halls. When it comes down to immigrants vs privacy and benefits, voters have suddenly gotten a clue. I thought “do you have a backout plan?” would have made a good message in 2024.

THAT’s interesting. California, Colorado, Connecticut and a dozen other states have privacy laws that penalize unauthorized people from exposing or using PII in an unauthorized way. If he’s not authorized, he could be bankrupted. Every instance is worth up to $20,000 depending on the state.
