I guess what makes that even worse is when they give you a specific time to go somewhere then 20 minutes later you are looking at your watch trying not to blow a gasket!

The infamous "it will only take you 5 minutes" quote. I swear women have no concept of time or reality.

Trump is the biggest short seller in the history of stock markets & share dealings.

Same here, I didn't know it was a thing so I will have a look out for it. Cheers for the heads up 👍

I absolutely love that RT image. It gave me goosebumps when I first saw it as a kid and it still does now.

I bought that when it came out 45 years ago and still have it in my collection. Comics do know how to make you feel old!

One of my all time favourite images. I went totally giddy when I first saw this on the back page of the prog. What an.image.

I love this week's issue. The final dialogue box actually got me a bit giddy 😁

Well that didn't take long to come out into the open. Trump is easier to read than a book with 5 words to a page and only 10 pages.

This is exactly what me and my lad were saying yesterday after we heard the news. It will end up as quantity over quality content

Totally appreciate how hard it has been to get so many followers on that other place, but I've no doubt they will all follow you here. Such a nice place to be 🌞

Trump is only interested in stopping the war so that Putin can steal all its precious metals, particularly lithium, so that the US can have exclusive deals on that supply.

I have signed up, again 😁, and if by any miniscule chance that I win, I would like you to raffle it off for a charity of your choice 👍

Not that I would ever be able to afford it, but how much is it expected to go for?
Fwiw, it should be in a museum as far as I'm concerned. Far better than a Hockney.

I got a boll*cking off a geography teacher after asking the lad sat next to me "what did he just say?" when he just told the class the next one to speak is going to get a detention! To be fair, my reputation preceded me.

Thoughts and condolences to you and all your family. Bathe in the memories of love and joy that you shared and let that warmth stay with you forever.

Hhhhmm, I think you're confusing it with About Time with Bill Night, Dom Gleeson & Rachel McAdams

I'm loving everything about this. The story, art & colours (and lettering) are all smashing it out of the park. Really looking forward to reading it.

It says there is a letter of intent for the UK business to be bought so hopefully those involved will keep their jobs and carry on as normal

Thank you for that @alexdecampi.bsky.social I didn't know anything about this until today. I had briefly wondered a month or so ago why I hadn't seen him on social media but I put that down to the hate show that everyone was leaving behind on X

I've read it, thanks to @alexdecampi.bsky.social I'm not the kind of person who will pile onto someone at the first signs of accusations being thrown, however, if these are true (just being balanced) it really is disturbing, saddening and traumatic for those involved.

Wow, truly shocked and saddened by this and heartfelt for those who have suffered. I loved reading NG's books but this has really destroyed the enjoyment I ever got from them now.

Just to clarify, my comments on this are directed at the news article headlines and not you. I just back what I wrote and it looked like it came across that way. Apologies if it did

I totally agree with you. As an ex employee, share buy backs & divi payments to institutions always pissed me off. My point was, trying to blame price increases on wages ie employees, is a bit rich. At least they do pay their taxes unlike Amazon. They do reinvest a lot into infrastructure as well.

They make big profits, and then pay tax back to the government unlike other companies in the UK!They continue to be successful which is great for all those who work for them. Or would people like to see another empty shop on the high street?

That's a piss poor headline. I've read the Next profit statement and yes, there will be a 1% increase in clothing costs, partly due to general annual wage increases, the decrease in the ENI threshold and NLW costs. Next wage bill is £900mpa.
