part of this is because the most visible people in these fields *are* making more money than you or I will ever see, but if you think every musician is making millions because taylor swift is, or that every actor is rich because RDJ makes millions off one movie, you're just a big ol' dumb dumb.

FWIW, this is a GREAT opportunity to yell at Dan Bongino, who has already said he won't do anything abt the FBI guys who participated in this assault.
Got a complaint about the FBI? Don't yell at Chuck Schumer. Nothing could be more impotent.

For those not following the drama earlier, it's for sharing this piece advocating for nonviolence (but not being judgy about how targeted people respond either). And saying some things about governmental/ institutional violence.

Seriously, more people should point out he's a little weirdo freak! Another one to be beat back by a broom!

I can't tell you how much I have to delicately dance around half of the leftists ideas with the general public before I can get them to agree. And everyone on the Butterfly app acts like it's easy.

Okay, but wait, aren't you the President of Run For Something? Why aren't you boosting all these new young leaders instead of just tearing down the older ones?

We do have term limits. The problem is people being voted back in.

This was kind of a feature of the first Trump administration too. Too many things happening all at once and then your brain melts and forgets them all.

I get a little skeptical whenever someone brings up romance novels as a bad thing.

Sorry, you just reminded me that I'm way behind on my Dorothy B. Hughes books. We really do need more pulp.

I know right-wingers will swallow it, eventually, but I'm not sure how this rehab will square with Q-Anon leftovers.

Pawsitive thoughts. (Look this is practically Miss Murder Mittens, this is as nice as she gets, I think)

Twice. Ugh. Too many recalls.

I can't wait to kick that man out, but as long as he's got, he's all we've got. He's making it very hard. (I hate recalls, and I won't trigger one trice in one sitting.)

There's a very obvious difference between love of fellow man, and control of women. I can't believe we still have to point this out.

(Yes, I'm in NorCal, should have mentioned).

My general opinion right now is a big sister: "Okay, I get to make fun of SoCal, but all you losers better back off!" (Also, yeah, California is big and complicated)

California needs to stop letting these rich assholes escape containment.

Miller is one of the people who are like, "I was mildly inconvenienced during high school, so my pain is pure and everyone else should kneel". The weakest type of person.

I think the answer to that is both very worrying and above my pay grade, so let's all hope it doesn't come to that.

(I'm the dummy who said we needed to get this leak fixed soon, I just didn't remember this week is a total pile on of deadlines).

They've been trying to bring back "illegal alien" too, even though that term is 20 years out of date.

Oh, it's definitely controlled. I wouldn't claim to know by who, but if you look you easily see the same talking points regurgitated, and almost the exact same legislation from right-wingers. They tend to be lock-step.

This type of thinking never actually makes *sense*, but let's just say Rubio and Cruz are fine as long there are people browner or more female to turn attention towards. But eventually they'd get cut out, too.
