I just like the butterfly. Maybe I'll think of more later.

I know right-wingers will swallow it, eventually, but I'm not sure how this rehab will square with Q-Anon leftovers.

Pawsitive thoughts. (Look this is practically Miss Murder Mittens, this is as nice as she gets, I think)

Twice. Ugh. Too many recalls.

I can't wait to kick that man out, but as long as he's got, he's all we've got. He's making it very hard. (I hate recalls, and I won't trigger one trice in one sitting.)

There's a very obvious difference between love of fellow man, and control of women. I can't believe we still have to point this out.

(Yes, I'm in NorCal, should have mentioned).

My general opinion right now is a big sister: "Okay, I get to make fun of SoCal, but all you losers better back off!" (Also, yeah, California is big and complicated)

California needs to stop letting these rich assholes escape containment.

Miller is one of the people who are like, "I was mildly inconvenienced during high school, so my pain is pure and everyone else should kneel". The weakest type of person.

I think the answer to that is both very worrying and above my pay grade, so let's all hope it doesn't come to that.

(I'm the dummy who said we needed to get this leak fixed soon, I just didn't remember this week is a total pile on of deadlines).

They've been trying to bring back "illegal alien" too, even though that term is 20 years out of date.

Oh, it's definitely controlled. I wouldn't claim to know by who, but if you look you easily see the same talking points regurgitated, and almost the exact same legislation from right-wingers. They tend to be lock-step.

This type of thinking never actually makes *sense*, but let's just say Rubio and Cruz are fine as long there are people browner or more female to turn attention towards. But eventually they'd get cut out, too.

"El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles". Named for Mother Mary, to protect and watch over their citizens.

We have a rather large lodge, and I am sadly neither retired nor rich, so I can only point to resources. But if you're burnt out on politics. You can find ways to build community.

If your lodge is in the "defunct" category: You probably do have some Masons kicking around you can bully. (Or we're all gonna have to create some real loose definitions about "book clubs").

And California does have a lot of weirdos.
comment in response to post
The *general* thought in California, from the top to the bottom, is it's more dangerous for us to comply with ICE than not. That doesn't prevent a few weirdos from making their own decisions, though.

I'm being vague because this is...a good project! And these people want to do good things! But JFC you're a featured speaker and this program takes 1 million dollars off your plate.

When the New York Times does languidly get around to mentioning Dom Lucre’s possession and sharing of CSAM, they describe the subsequent (and sadly too limited) outrage over it as an ordeal for HIM. Simply unbelievable - well, if I expected any better from The NY Times, which I don’t.

(Apparently I'm a delight at these promo events, but take my picture or call my name and I start to have problems).
