I’d love him to come back and say Trump is a nut case and we won’t deal with America anymore. But really that doesn’t help anyway. So even if, as I suspect, Starmer does thing that, he’ll do a grown up politically sensible thing. Which is what the world needs right now.

You can have a go at Starmer for many things but from what I’ve seen so far he’s practical and sensible. The right even through that as an insult. I expect he’ll make soothing statements and talk of our special relationship. I think that’s what’s needed from a politician right now. Calm the waters
