Got a Quest 3. Put it on. Strap was painful after 15 minutes. Bought a better one online. Meta, you cannot have peoples' first experience with VR be THIS bad... It's niche enough as it is.

Going through the 2024 backlog has been pretty rewarding thus far. Tales of Kenzera: Zau - One of the most heartfelt games I've played in a while (killer OST too) Still Wakes the Deep - Feels like a playable Jordan Peele movie but more Scottish Nightmare Kart - It's a Bloodborne Kart racer.

Y'know what? Good. Let 'em continue to make trash. Netflix and streaming succeeding in the games space will be a disaster for preservation. Streaming means no download. No download means no rom. No rom means no crack. So if the game were removed from the service, it'd be impossible to preserve.

After some hands on with my new controller I can say with absolute confidence that the touchpad, motion controls and all those other gimmicks can die in a ditch, just make back paddles the new standard across platforms please! It would be a measurable improvement for so many games!
