Even when it was a thing, it only was in effect for 20 minutes after the raid. Everybody who stuck around was always counted.

And what's scary is the pump was primed for this in Republicans by 2 things: They hate European universal health care. They love Putin's open homophobia.

Oh god, my worst food poisoning ever was corn tortilla chips from the 99cent store. The date was still good, but I think that bag got a micro-puncture that let air in.

Aside from my own community, being the manager of a couple of others, it's so nice to have full control of not allowing any kind of sexist/bigoted/racist nonsense. I wish more people in moderation positions understood that dogwhistles are *proof* of hate, not a way to weasel out of responsibility.

What's scary is his lawyer only finding out about some of the evidence against him via this documentary instead of required discovery.

One "weird" behavior that a lot of older people still carry over is *having* to answer the phone no matter what. Letting it ring is just not in their DNA at all.

The manufactured panic over "woke" and "DEI" are distracting people from very real corporate mismanagement across gaming. The truth is that getting more diversity in management and content is what's going to fix gaming in the long run.

And without additional plugins, if you see an offending video in your feed, you can mark it "Do not recommend channel again" from the 3-dot menu. I've already zapped most of these channels by now.

They do indeed! Let me see if I can find a picture of the turkeys.
comment in response to post
My mother feeds a flock of suburb turkeys. They're so freakin' HUGE, I'm kind of scared of them myself.

*Should* be able to, but with the usage right now, things have been buggy for some people.

Also, for those who still need to highlight some videos as part of the cleanup process, this still works for now. Create the URL for the highlight tool manually with the following format. dashboard dot twitch dot tv/u/username/content/video-producer/highlighter/VOD-ID#

All they need to do is convince the shareholders that "AI is our future" with crap like this. It never needs to be useful to users.
comment in response to post
They "fixed" the link under the button. Use this format putting your name and the VOD ID # in manually. dashboard twitch tv/u/username/content/video-producer/highlighter/ID# (put the 2 dots in the beginning back)
comment in response to post
That's how they want it to work, but if you have the right URL, you can highlight before deleting it all. It just changed. Use this format putting your name and the VOD ID # in manually. dashboard twitch tv/u/username/content/video-producer/highlighter/ID# (put the 2 dots in the beginning back)

Highlights will still be around, you just have to keep them under 100 hours total. Also, there's a sneaky trick to do it still if they're blocked: right click on the "highlight" button to copy the link and paste it into a new tab.
comment in response to post
There's a workaround that at least works for now. Right click the "Highlight" button to copy the link and paste it into a new tab. They only disabled the button, not the function itself. Also, if you have YouTube or can make up, can export there. But have to "verify" the channel for longer videos.

You're #2 of those I've seen so far. #1 was 22k hours. I "only" have 7300.

Democrats willing to vote for a Republican bill only signals to the GOP that the bill wasn't cruel enough.
comment in response to post
BTW, they might fix this, but for now, you can get around the new Highlight block by right-clicking the "Highlight" button and copying the URL to paste into another tab.
comment in response to post
Oh true! I think that is still active for me.

450 of them are already exported to YT, and I've been locally recording for 4 or 5 years now, so It's not quite as bad as it could be for me, but this will still be a lot of work. Download isn't even an option except for a few special because of my ISP data cap of 1.2T per month.
comment in response to post
I thought I was up there with 7300 hours (1400 videos).
comment in response to post
I'm definitely one of the ones "causing" this issue. I have 7300 hours of highlights.
comment in response to post
I calculated that with my ISP data cap, I would need at least a year to actually downloaded the highlights I don't already have saved. And that's if I use 100% of it for that purpose. Fortunately, I already have the YT process down, but this will still be 800 videos for me.

At max all of this is going to have curiosity value only. People don't realize that real creation is discovering the details in the idea as you make the bigger thing. *Everything* in the background of a shot is important.

I turn off all outside notification of everything everywhere. When/if I'm on the service (which is already too much!), I can check then.

I remember the circular argument for banning gay people. "Because they're banned, any who are in the military can be blackmailed to give up secrets, or face getting expelled." "So if we lift the ban, then there's no longer a security threat?" "No, not like that!"

"If you want work/life balance, get a better job!" When you find that job that pays well and you only have to work 40 hours... "You should be fired, nobody only works 40 hours and is worth that much, you must be lazy."

Even if maintaining the game and releasing some updates takes half the staff, what happened to "we should put the rest of the team on working on a new thing for when this dies down in a few years."? The whole reason for having a "studio" seems to have broken down.

True, but my point is that anybody who is going to send you the kind of DM you never want, whether a bot, spammer, or sex pest, is never going to follow the instruction to not DM.
comment in response to post
One thing I've noticed is that part of the bot bio-script is always "no dms!" with some variations. This immediately makes the account suspect in my eyes, because real people understand the bots are going to DM you anway, so no point in saying it.

A reply bot of some kind.
comment in response to post
It's some kind of reply bot.
comment in response to post
Very odd. Looking at their other replies, it's not *quite* a disagree bot, but has a lot of the same weirdness.
