My family of 5 are going to cycle from 🇩🇰 to 🇳🇱 (900km)! Route shows contrasting networks: Sparse paths for first 600km to Bremen leave no room for error, while dense Dutch networks allow safe course-correction. Whether cycling or organizing, connected networks always outperform fragmented ones.

There is no way people will stand car parking being cleared out of side streets to provide space to build cycle tracks where traffic flow is to high for cycling with traffic. It's a bonkers proposition in space, urban design, cost, carbon. You name it.
