I remember Tucker getting so angry he actually cut him off and went to commercial, it was amazing. Nowrasteh had been banging this drum for at LEAST a decade. He does great work!

Where would they go? Cleveland? Let's be serious here.

After Chiesa and Vlahović, I didn't need yet another reason to hate Juventus, but here we are, I guess.

John Bolton must be having some big feelings right now.

This just sounds like a nightmare, honestly. Currently drinking (iced) coffee and reading a book, and for sure it's going to be the best part of the upcoming week.

Omg do you remember the FEMA camps? If I heard one more time about how the government was building outdoor tent cities to house detained Americans in violation of the Constitution under Obama....

Everyone in this thread is correct, it's Stephen Miller!

Mexico City is my favorite place on earth - it's such a crazy mash of cultures and history that it's almost impossible to really grasp it. For me it's the real meeting point of the old and new worlds, the most fully realized ideal of "the Americas". It's everything and I love it!

Lol good
If we keep trying, I think we can drive it down further. Maybe they should quit and learn to code. Or they can find a job in the "productive private sector".

Fuck Tom Homan, and abolish ICE.

Please, for the love of God, everyone should be reading every piece that Alex Nowrasteh puts out. No one knows this topic better than he does - he's been unbelievably consistent and unflinchingly pro-immigration for as long as I can remember.

Every time I go I earnestly believe it's my time - hasn't happened yet, so next visit it definitely will.

This is true but I'd love to see them both destroy the other in the process!

As an immigration professional this is all just so endlessly, desperately depressing to watch, but the 1 silver lining MIGHT be that people are finally seeing this process first-hand and realizing how ugly it is whereas before it was mostly hidden from view. I guess we'll hope and see.....

Ever since I found out his age a few months ago, I've thought about it every single day. Still can't get over it, just gobsnacked every time.

How on earth has no one mentioned La Haine? Mamma Roma? Bicycle Thieves? Roma Città Aperta/ Rome, Open City? So many other excellent lists, though!

I want to be able to ask an AI what i can make for dinner for 1 week with each meal talking no more than 8-9 simple ingredients, and it gives me recipes as well as an exact shopping list w/specific quantities to buy so that I can reduce waste and cost at the end. I would pay SO MUCH money for this.

On behalf of Western PA, we'd like to apologize for this judge. That's quite embarrassing for us.

I'm ok with every single person involved with this going on trial for attempted murder. Or perhaps actual murder, God forbid.

There is a huge amount of literature on this very topic in Germany, and the bottom line is that not only do the children of immigrants benefit from birthright citizenship, but German society benefits enormously (higher language proficiency, less crime, more innovation, etc). This is a no-brainer!

I mean, ICE is constantly arresting and holding US citizens now (by "mistake"), so maybe the passport on-hand is a good idea?

Did you ever see this one? It's sand art from an artist named Katie Jo Suddaby, and I think it was from Trump 1, but it made such an impact on me that I still think about nearly every day.

Honest question: Do you think part of this is because they're not completely sure that the military would back the administration if ordered to do something awful/ potentially unlawful?

I can definitely see this, but it also feels like Catholicism here is actually just a weird brand of American nationalism with a very weak Catholic facade. I don't even see much that's particularly conservative about it these days.

Tbf the American Catholic church is WILDLY out of step with the universal church, for whatever reason.
