AC broke in my car today. Went to a store to get a spray bottle so I could stay cool for the hour ride to a party tonight. Found a mini one. Asked 3 people where the normal sized ones are. The best answer was, “Not in this area.” Right. Gathered that. #raiseminimumwage so people pretend to care.

As a kid, I was fascinated by the 60s and wished I had grown up then so I could do my part to protest against injustice and the war. Now, I’m getting tired of signing petitions and protesting, constantly feeling like it’s not enough. Rights, equality, equity, & peace shouldn’t be so hard to accept.

Tonight I took a bachata lesson. It was easier than salsa, and everyone was friendly and supportive — even at the dance party afterward. My favourite dance still is the Brit rock bounce mixed with some hand movements that represent imaginary glowsticks. Unfortunately, those moves aren’t in Bachata.

I took a salsa lesson once. Afterward, we stood in a circle and had a dance party. A guy asked me to dance and immediately returned me to the circle. “I’m sorry. You are so bad at this.
