Remarkable stuff in the texts between Musk and St. Clair in the exhibits to her paternity position. He’s really into making babies!

The only thing that makes Russia any more powerful than Mexico is their large (and aging) arsenal of weapons left over from the Soviet period.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Man he really called it

In modern history, what is the least popular that party leaders have ever been to their OWN voters? Second place was the GOP in 2009, where their net approval with Republican voters was only +6. Currently Dems are -8, shattering all previous records.

All my homies are chanting “cadaver synod”

Republicans=Nazis

I suspect we're going to get a lot of takes about how Trump was never serious about the mass deportations, but I doubt that's true. They're just too incompetent to play Gestapo

I do think some places exist that would print an feature on Elon's drug use while running amok in our government, but in case not, if you're a reporter with enough info to write one or the ability to get that info, @liberalcurrents.com is happy to publish it. email: writers @ liberalcurrents dot com

Coming around to the view that a certain kind of narcissist simply needs Musk to be a genius rather than a fraud, because they want to believe there’s a hereditary Brahmin class of accomplished, beautiful minds—and that they’re a part of that class.

This is the most wretched campaign of deliberate, explicit persecution the United States has perpetrated against a minority group in decades. Many of the most important people in politics and journalism are busying themselves trying to figure out how little to say or do about it.

One aspect of doing a political purge of the military and civil service is you can't come back in afterwards and just revert to status quo ante policies. A counter-purge becomes a necessity before you can then restore usual norms and protections. The people he's installing can't be left in place.

Very much like the Iraq War, somehow "I thought Elon Musk was a genius until a couple years ago" is now considered the more respectable and serious opinion than "I knew he was a fraud for a decade and was never fooled by him."

It's so weird that the Kingdom Hearts series exists

Democrats are fundamentally misunderstanding the moment: We're not asking them to be *legislators* right now. We need them to be *politicians.* There's nothing to be done about the legislative situation. They're right about that. But there's PLENTY to be done as politicians.

you know the tide is starting to turn with these people when you're hearing this kind of shit

Gotta make a distinction between dooming and regular old analysis, which ultimately comes down to tone and whether you assert that there's nothing anyone can do about it.

I know very little about Canadian politics, but what I'm gathering on here is that the Trump is both the news of the day almost 24/7 and also a wedge issue for the CPC. Sounds like they're kinda fucked

lol we might be able to take the House this year

If bird flu goes pandemic in humans it will probably have a CFR of 15-30%. For reference, the spanish influenza was 2%. COVID was 1%.
