I wouldn’t be surprised if they started a podcast together at this point. 🤦🏼♂️

No bc the CEO of Open AI was at his inauguration which made me think… what if they’re going to start using AI as a propaganda tool? Especially with how advanced AI has gotten, there’s some things that even I have to question at times. How will we be able to decipher what is AI and what isn’t?

same!! There are so many bookmarked posts that aren’t available for me either.

RIP 🙏
They’re also filtering all comments that mention “Trump” out as well.

Someone screen recorded it before it was taken down but here is the video I was referring too.

I’ll have to look into skylight social. I haven’t heard anything about that one yet tbh. I’ve stuck to Bluesky and Rednote (until it gets banned). I’m also going to use Neptune whenever it finally comes out.

Yes, that’s the video. thank god you took a screen recording. Another creator made a tiktok showing where they’re filtering out comments that mentions “Trump.” If all of this is happening before he takes office then I’m scared to see what else we’re gonna deal with. 🤦🏼♂️

With her saying that they reached out to her and someone in the comments said that the same thing is happening to them as well.

I hope most people are aware of the similarities because it’s become pretty obvious that we are headed in that direction.

I’m starting to think that I may want to get off that app bc I know that at some point they’re going to push Pro-Trump propaganda. I just hope people use their discernment if that does happen.

There was also another tiktok that I screen recorded from last week that has also been taken down. It was a creator discussing how certain media companies was reaching out to leftist creators and trying to get them to share conservative talking points of some sort and offered compensation.

or they restricted it to where Americans can't find it. I'm unsure of which but there was nothing in it that would've went against community guidelines.

TikTok is already censoring speech. I saw a German girl that made a TikTok comparing 1930s Germany to present-day America, offering warnings. I favorited it, then later saw another creator mentioning that she was looking for it, only to find it had been taken down.

“Whichever purchase we so choose” how do people not see right through this?

That makes a lot of sense. It’s become pretty apparent that we’ve been give the illusion of choice for a while now.

I mean I’ve seen a lot of people still willing to use Meta apps. I doubt they’ll think twice about going back to TikTok, even if it is state-ran media.

Some people are too far down the propaganda pipeline to realize the obvious and then some just don’t care.

Exactly, but why hasn’t the Democrats said/done anything about it? It seems pretty obvious to me.

Elon was the first to know that he won hours before the results came out? Russia saying that Trump owes them since they’re the reason he won? Putin saying that the US political system has fallen? Not to mention, the fact trump is still going on about the election even though he supposedly won?
comment in response to

Honestly, I thought his entire campaign was embarrassing enough to deter any voter, regardless of political affiliation. It confused me when polls suggested he would win, especially compared to Kamala’s campaign and then the election results never sat right with me.

Have you been on TikTok? Many of them aren’t going to see through it, I guarantee.

I was thinking about it, and I find it strange that they banned the app anyway. Even if the CEO believed they could potentially still face penalties from Biden, and Biden did enforce those penalties… Couldn't Trump just reverse it so they wouldn't have to actually pay them?
comment in response to

Exactly, I’m thinking that something may happen at the inauguration or just something in general they don’t want us talking abt or planning and so they’re waiting until afterwards. That or there is some type of merger or something they’re gonna do. Either way it’s sketchy.
comment in response to

maybe that’s just me being uneducated abt these things but that doesn’t make any sense to me. Especially if Trump genuinely plans on undoing the ban.
