Real time transcripts are shown by default on some podcasts on Spotify. I think it's a great example of a curb-cut effect feature that can benefit everyone who uses it, regardless of access needs. lifehacker.com/spotify-can-...

Yeah I can see the angle here. Interested to see what conclusions you come to !

ahhh got you. I guess moderation is much easier and therefore easier enforced in almost all online games when swearing is done in text chat, therefore introducing a bias straight away.

Not sure if it's exactly what you're asking but Habbo Hotel (blast from the past!) had a text filter that would change swears into 'Bobba' habbo.fandom.com/wiki/Bobba

Oh god. Do not get me started on lack of consequences… Lots of these cases don’t even reach a criminal court. Instead a civil court is relied on and Coroner recommendations seemingly are systemically ignored. Happening all over in prisons, care homes, hospitals. www.lawgazette.co.uk/news/coroner...

Yeah. It’s rarely done right.

Incarceration is an interesting term. There are many people with complex needs who do need constant, secure care with no other alternative way to support them. Unfortunately lots of these provisions in the UK which have been set up to house these people are completely useless at the basics.

I won't go into details, but a case similar to this hit my family a few years ago. The system is broken, from the way these places are run to the way in which these cases are brought to criminal investigation. It enrages me, and although all I'm doing is silly little things in games, pushes me.

I find it can often serve as a free pass for developers to not consider the content they are putting in front of players because of such messages, unfortunately. A 'glossary' of potential, specific triggers outlined in this sort of warning at the start of the game would be great.
