Almost fell victim to this, but it was Kuhl. A friend sent me a legit looking link to a sale, but the prices felt too low so I went to their real website via google. Totally would have fallen for it if I hadn’t been looking for Kuhl clothing a week or two prior and knew the pricing.

Other than the courts there isn’t a mechanism to try and reign in the closures once the dems let this opportunity pass them by.
I think we gotta take the GOP at their word that they want this to pass, I think it slows the RIFS and closures if it does.

I’m not seeing how an emergency furlough converts to a permanent one (based on OPM guidance). There’s a requirement for a 2nd notice if the furlough goes 22 work days, but I don’t see how that converts that to anything more.
For me an unrestrained executive for 6 months is much scarier.

I know they’re going to keep trying to push it. Hopefully more exemptions get approved and they back down on a lot based on the law and the lack of documentation. Hopefully more people get out of their probationary periods due to the delay.
I’m trying to stay positive, but plan for the worst.
